HELP! What is this stinkin' part number?

I am doing a lengthy under-hood overhaul on my '96 4Runner. I am down to the final hoses and bits n bobs. However, there is one long hose on the top front of the engine that needs to be replaced which runs straight across from the air cleaner box to the charcoal evap canister, but wouldn't it figure that this particular hose is nowhere to be found on any of the parts diagrams I have looked at on the official Toyota parts website. Even the guys at the parts counter at my local dealership were stumped. Can anybody tell me the name of the hose or hopefully the part number for it?

The picture I'm including looks exactly like under my hood (but this is not my truck) and I've indicated the hose in question with yellow arrows.

 

You might be able to replace it with a length hose from a parts store. I'm guessing it's just a vacuum line.

 

Yes, I could do that, which is also what the dealership parts guy suggested. I was really trying to avoid doing this, wanting to have everything under the hood "genuine" Toyota parts.

 

If it's just a standard hose/tube, there might not be a part number for it. I could be wrong, just guessing.

No problem! I had this exact problem a couple years ago so I always kept links to vacuum hose diagrams. Glad I could help!

 

So this part is a standard "non-molded" hose. However, it is a METRIC diameter hose. Most auto parts stores won't have the correct size. I go to NAPA and match hoses up and if they don't have the right size, they will order a reel of the metric stuff and let me get a few feet from it when it comes in.

Otherwise, TOYOTA is the way to go.

Put in your VIN
From the diagrams, mouse over the part you need to get part numbers. Use their pictures to verify.
If you're still unsure, take the part number and google image search it.
Order from Camelback or McGeorge TOYOTA online parts for a discount.

 

Fortunately, I have a dealership right around the corner from me that I can order online for a discount and pick up from there (Cobb County Toyota). I'm still confused how I missed that part number. Thanks guys!
