Cali Raised Sliders?

Anyone running these? Any quality/fitment issues? Can't seem to get a clear answer from Cali Raised if these are TIG or MIG welded.

 

I love mine. No issues. I believe they told me mig welded when I was doing my research, but cannot say for certain.

If I was gonna purchase sliders, I’d choose Caliraised. They looked like one of the better ones.

 

If I had to choose I get the white knuckle off road. Personal preference (not sure if strength is involved) but their main support tube is squared vs round.

 

I'm happy with my Shrockworks sliders (fast shipping, powder coated, lower price) but the Cali Raised ones looks just fine.

 

I’ve got the CaliRaised on my 4Runner and am very happy with them. They were an easy install as they fit with no issues, all the hardware needed was included and I like the removable top plate. The welds were of very good quality as well..

There are several good choices out there that will protect your rocker panels and I think these are one of them.

I have them on since 2018 and they are solid! No fitment issues. Idont have top plate. Kickouts are great especially when reaching on top of roof. I just added grip tape to help reduce slipping esp when wife or passangers get in and out.

I got the angled with no plates. There are other options out there, but these seem stout enough, and were available quickly when I ordered.

They appear to be good quality mig welds. They also mount up solid, with the rear mounts wrapping around the frame.

I had to do a little gunsmithing on mine to get them to fit. The holes for the front mounting plates were off by a little bit.

 

When did you order your rock sliders?

 

Thanks for the feedback guys! My only thing with these sliders is I have KDSS and it looks like they're a bit of a pain to mount with KDSS.

 

I ordered them may 18th and got them may 27th. Im pretty sure I got them so quickly because they were in stock. It seems they get regular shipment of these, so turnaround can be pretty quick if you grab them while in stock.

I do use them as a step to get in. Not really seeing any sort of wear on them, althought I probably should put some skid tape over the area I step on.



this is the area where I needed to widen the hole. There is a slot to allow for up and down play, but it actually needed some side to side play. So I ended up making three of the holes into more like a L shape. Basically I hand-filed out about 1/4 inch for the bolts to be able to slide in. The passenger side had two that were misaligned, but by a little less.

 

caliraised looks to have everything i need imo. helps that they are also local to me lol. save on shipping.

 

I have them on my truck and I think they’re great. No fitment issues at all, solid build quality. It took about three months to get them but they were worth it.

 

Ordered my Cali raised led sliders from Caliraised off road on august 7th. Supposedly they will be in next week ‍♂️

 

I also have them on my 4Runner. Their customer service was great in answering the many questions I have. From ordering to receipt ended up being like 15 days for me, in the middle of everyone's "COVID" shortages. They have been amazing from start to finish.

@jake long15 I know you probably get this alot and it has been mentioned before but I can never remember, being that there are two retailers "cali raised led" located in Texas and "cali raised offroad" located in Ca. Are these the same sliders? If so, why the price difference and with your guys' being cheaper by $40?

 

Cali raised led and Cali raised offroad are two different companies. Cali-raised LED is located in fort worth texas and makes all the cali raised led products there as well. Cali raised offroad is a dealer of cali raised led products. The reason they are cheaper on Cali Raised LED site is that we make them!

 

So all the fab work are done and built in Texas by cali-raised led? Even if I order from Cali-Raised offroad, they still get them from your location in Texas?

 

Yes, they get it from us because they are a dealer of ours.

 

New Member here. Picked up my TIG welded sliders from Westcott Designs here in Phoenix. Very nice and there is a bottle opener on both sides.

 

Just picked up a pair of sliders today during their sale. I went with flat, powder coat sliders with bedliner top plate. I did the installation solo in about 3 hours. High quality, good fitment and overall I’m very happy with the look and can’t wait to get them out on the trails.

Only tip is if you go with the top plate, install them BEFORE you slap the sliders on your frame… getting to the inside mounting bolts is basically impossible once the sliders are on your rig.

 

They look awesome!
