I was installing my rear shocks in the dark last night. Dumb. I fucked up the first 1/4 or so of threads in the lower shock mount. I think it's still salvageable, do I just dull the threads? Or should I retap?

Run a tap down it, clean it up a bit, and get after it. That said, i bet you'd be fine just letting it eat.

I was thinking the same, but the threads are pushing crooked... That said, I am curious why there's a tapping bolt on this mount.
