    Just brought my ‘22 ORP home the other day and realized yesterday that I didn’t have the TRD skid plate on the front. I was almost certain it was (at least used to be) standard on the off road trims. I’m 99% positive after looking at pics that I don’t have KDSS. Unfortunately, I don’t have the window sticker as it was legit purchased off the delivery truck

    I think the TRD skids only come on the Pros.

    RCI aluminum skids (front, trans, TC, and gas), RCI steel sliders 20 degree no plates with kickout, Treaty Oak recovery points, LFD stainless crossbars, Greenlane ladder, Toyo Open Country AT III, Bilstein 5100s, OME (front 2” lift) and Eibach (rear 1”lift) coils
    ORP does not come with that skid plate. But now you can buy a better one and not have to pay the Pro premium.

    Nope, its not standard but you can get it as an accessory on any non KDSS 4Runner for a hefty price..:p

    Or you can use that money for a better skid;

    I take my skid off every time I do an oil change. Gives me a chance to clean stuff, bang out dents, not have the dealer screw it up since I am getting my free oil changes, etc.

    Bang dents? If you’re constantly banging out dents at every oil change, you need to upgrade to steel plates. For me, free or not. I won’t take it to them for oil changes.

    Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
    I added the TRD Skid plate to my 4Runner right away.

    Hindsight being 20/20 buy something else. I have all sorts of dents in the TRD skid plate. The other main problem with it is you need to find skids that will work with it. I went with Shrockworks TRD integration skids. I would've rather had a full set of Shrockworks skids or one of the other brands.
