I just put a deposit down last night, now the waiting game begins.
    • The sales guy told me approx. 4 months fingers crossed I have it by end of summer
    • I had to give 3 color options (I gave Metallic Silver as my first choice, Metallic Gray and White as backups)

Congrats to all those who took delivery recently the pictures look great! Keep the pictures coming because it keeps the excitement for those of us on the waitlist.

Welcome to the endless money pit that gives endless happiness family.

As for color options I too like Metallic Silver for not looking dirty much, Metallic Gray that looks really good.

I had a white one in the past that never had any issues with paint but there are cases that white paint could have problems. Maybe give another color option as a 3rd choice?

No hate for White as white was my fav color, I had 3 whites. Rav4, Venza, 4Runner. Just based on news about white paint I stopped buying white. My next lightest color choice was Silver.

I recently took delivery of mine after a long wait. For some reason I had this idea that I shouldn’t buy any accessories until I actually had the vehicle in my hands. Refraining was hard. ;-)

It’s my understanding that it could be in port for 3 to 4 weeks, I hope I’m wrong and they have reduced that time.

Thank you! Question, do you think Westcott pre-collars will cause KDSS lean?

Yes, it has! However, the timeline also is dictated by your geo-location. I'm close to the port.

Congrats and great call on KDSS. Especially if living somewhere mountainous, the difference is not slight.

Thanks, do you notice notice a significant difference driving your rig vs driving non-KDSS 4Rs? (I haven't driven a ORP w/ KDSS yet so just curious)

I was able to test drive a 2020 SR5 Premium without KDSS before buying my 2022 TRD ORP with KDSS. I can tell you that I noticed a difference pretty immediately. Flatter in corners, less nose dive on braking and generally speaking better on-road manners. I was stoked to get one with it. It doesn't fix all the body roll or nose dive, but it helps quite a but.

    Welcome & congrats.
I have a '22 WHITE ORP with KDSS and my wife has a WHITE SR5. (Did I mention that they are both WHITE)? My truck has very little body roll in corners compared to my wife's WHITE SR5. Much better ride in the Twisties. Nose dive seemed improved with KDSS but still had it.

Don't know about the Wescott set up you're considering but Crikey Mike with Exit Off Road told me the '22 4Runners don't have the lean issue that older models have. Got my Dobinsons IMS lift installation done last Saturday and had consulted him regarding my concerns with the lean and apparently Toyota has done something to the newer models to address that suspension issue.
Did I mention that both of our 4Runners are WHITE?
    :)

Congrats and I hope your wait is short! I just got a 2023 off road premium with KDSS and I love it. I actually didn't want the KDSS so the dealer who got one allocated that matched what I wanted except for it having the KDSS package discounted it $700 for me if I wanted it. Hahaha, SO glad I went for it. It handles so well.
