There isn't anything automatic on this truck...It is RWD until you lock in the front differential.

Dude, check out my posts on this topic. There are great reasons. And they don’t involve the Limited being “luxurious.” Cause honestly your average $25k econo box has more lux features than a Limited.

They say that Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel-drive system is also all time all wheel drive. I don't know how it works

I will never forget when I saw it. Anthracite metalic with the PX paint package. I ran to the bank and got a loan right away before anyone knew it was for sale. Then ai noticed, not only was it a Limited but a SR5-Limited!

Reminds me of my Tundra slowmo video. Until I come home and check on bigger monitor I did not notice how much that truck bed flex.

The Ford Navigator is based on the Ford F-150. And the Sequoia is based on the Tundra. Then how come the Navigator has more cargo space than the Sequoia? What is limiting Toyota from making the Sequoia longer?

It’s pretty big, and it has cargo boxes underneath. Massive hatch hinges.

What frame is the Land Cruiser on...Surely it must also be on a Tundra frame, Right? They had one @ the Keating dealership with a 96K sticker on the window. Ugly arse truck on top of that...LOL

Yes it's big, but the Navigator and the Suburban are longer, they have more cargo space and more comfortable third row seats than the Sequoia

But originally the CEO bought it. And then it was just a little too tall so she got a Mercedes.

Same truck, but it has a lot of goodies inside, a lot of wood and leather. Just the executive package on the LX600 I think is $15,000

AWD is super nice if you need/want it. Driving in rain or snow I find it very useful.

Driving up a snowy mountain pass, that transitions back and forth from dry pavement to slick, is hard on a traditional 4x4 if in 4hi.

I have a 100 series LC, AWD all the time, similar to a Limited 4runner.

I don't think so. The Landcruiser is made in Japan, and the Tundra is made in the US. Eventually, the Sequoia, Tundra, Tacoma, and 4runner will all be on different variations of the same platform.

In comparison...After driving my 2022 Limited 4WD, getting back into my 2016 Trail Premium 4WD doesn't bring a smile to my face (Not like driving a tractor bad). I'm doing some manscaping on the 2016 & will post it as my profile pic...Full on fishing buggy!

I watched The Car Care nuts video on the Land Cruiser. He was saying that the Land Cruiser was unique in all aspects, it didn't have a lot of things common with other vehicles

I looked at the Limited model first as I saw more of them on the road around me (not too mountainous or many trails in suburbs of Detroit). I saw one at a dealer drove it and liked it a lot but the more I researched and then drove an ORP I fell for that.

For myself personally I liked the manual lever for 4WD (it just seemed to be less stuff to break), also being a single guy once I saw the ORP on the lot I thought it looked cooler for myself personally speaking. After I researched suspension issues limited (Xreas) I was even more sold on the ORP. It just seemed more simple and rugged and that is what sold me. Its funny though because I see more limiteds for sure around here, I am sure out west its the opposite i would guess.

    Isn't H4F full-time 4WD though, like every Limited?

Yeah, pretty sure I said that. I didn't say the systems were the same, that's what you inferred. If the owner of a Limited just needs four-wheel drive for inclement weather, the default setting of full-time 4WD is perfect for that. So in that case, the driver doesn't have to do anything.

That means that the limited has a feature that driving it in 4hi doesn't harm the system, because in the others we cannot drive it in 4 high on dry pavement

It's both. The default, every day setting is very similar to a Subaru or any other AWD system. OR, you can lock the center diff and put it in 4 Hi or 4 Lo like any other 4Runner.
