There is so many 5100 topics and threads it is tough to find the exact information im looking for. I want to talk about preloading with the factory coils.

If you crank the 5100 to 2.5" instead of 1.75" it will ride harsh, due to preloading the coils/struts? If I set them at 1.75" had a 1/4" spacer one side and a 1/2" on the other side(to fix my lean) would it ride better then set at 2.5" one side and 1.75" other side with a 3/8" spacer? Do both sides need to be set evenly?

I'm trying figure out the spacers I need to purchase (rear and front)

Also what is everyone coating their 5100 with to prevent the rust?

    Thanks

Why would you put spacers on both sides after pre loading? Seems like you’d be better off buying longer coils to do the lifting instead of preloading and installing spacers. I have mine set to 0 and used longer coils to do the lifting, and installed a .25” spacer on the front drivers side.

What should i coat the 5100 with to keep them from rusting like all the pictures I see? Clear coat or just fluid film?

Also I might orders the wheels t1 and t13 springs. Seems that those paired with 5100s are a win win
