Heated seats aren’t very warm

Those in my 2018 fry my ass off within a minute or two. I’m impressed with how quickly they heat up.

 

My 2018 seats heat up very fast.

 

2022 here, mine heat up fast and I have to put down to half way setting or so to not burn my ass and back

 

Only minus 2 this week! ...and 8 inches of snow. A few weeks a go we got 2 feet of snow in one day. I laugh when John Kerry cries about Global Warming. When I was a kid they told us an Ice Age was coming. All I know is it;s still damn cold here every winter and it still rains in WA, doesnt it?

 

Our 2020 ORP seats heat up nicely, real comfortable on a cold day.

 

My 2021 heated seats are adequately fine! I felt the heated seats were better in my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek and 2002 Volvo S80. My wife's 2019 Volvo XC90 has a heated steering wheel which I thought was absurd, but damn it does feel good!

 

my 2007 lexus heated seat were better as well. I don't hate the one in the 4Runner but i wouldnt have complained if they were a bit warmer. However I would've loved a heated steering wheel

 

my 22 are warm... my previous cars BMW, Nissan Murano, Audi A6, and my girlfriends Nissan Rogue are way hotter (BMW probably has the best targeting of the the "right" spots for your back and seat and can notice difference in heat settings)... the 4Runner is luke warm at best on both front seats... while its nice and i can leave it on max setting all the time it really is ho hum overall compared to every other vehicle ive been in with heated seats... buddy has a 21 and his are just slightly warmer than mine.. .

 

My 2021 ORP is also the same. Although my 4R is garaged, the heated seats are really nice while driving and waiting till the engine reaches operating temperature. Then I turn the heater on and the seats off.

 

2021 SR5-P, my heated seats barely get warm.
