I was wondering about the on road ride quality of these shocks if anyone out there is running them. I had the 5100s on my tacoma previously and the ride fuckin sucked. It was so harsh and unenjoyable to drive, especially on these Louisiana pot holes. The bushings for the lower mounting points on my stock struts are gone and I need to replace soon. Thoughts?

None, and hopefully it stays that way for a while
Had the 6112 on my Taco and liked them more than the 5100s. However, I had gone from 700# to 650#, so that definitely played a part.

Are you making out the clip settings? If so yes it’ll ride harsh. If you pair it with lift coils it shouldn’t be too bad.

I have the 6112's on my 2022 TRD ORP and am really happy with them. The on road ride quality is better than stock. Handling has improved and the off road capabilities are very good for mild or intermediate offroading. I also added the Bilstein tubular UCA and just went with 5100' and stock springs in the rear to maintain a level stance. If you are worried about on road ride quality I would definitely recommend the 6112's. I primarily use my vehicle for driving to mountain resorts during winter and beginner to intermediate OHV trails year round.
