Might be a longshot, but hopefully somebody is out there:

Been waiting on my '22 TRD Pro to come into the dealership for a couple of months now. Was supposed to take delivery today and the truck was damaged on the transport trailer.

Is anybody out there that knows of a white or black Pro sitting on their lot within 500 miles of Austin, Texas?

Please help a brotha out....

What kind of damage? Are they going to fix it and then sell it to you? Or is this just their BS excuse for not getting you a vehicle?

 

The port sent it back. I have it in writing from the port so I know the dealer isn't giving me any BS. They already have a new VIN for me allocated, but it's not even built yet. Am trying to get one sooner rather than later at this point.

I'm thinking either the transporter wrecked, or some idiot loading it slammed into something. I had the car in the Toyota app and it didn't give any alerts but I have the Toyota Gulf Sales email and contact info. Didn't care to ask what happened, just know it's legit.

Thanks for checkin, I looked all through Houston, Dallas, etc. Anything on CarGurus is either pre-sold or just an allocation coming a month from now.

Hoping somebody has seen one on a lot nearby and it's just not showing online for whatever reason.
I don't care about a market adjustment because I have a trade in worth more than the truck so I've got some leverage.

So sorry OP I feel the pain in part- I was waiting on a white TRD Pro for months. It arrived last week and someone promptly stole the catalytic converter off it and a bunch of cars on the dealer lot. Ive been and likely will be waiting for a couple more weeks while then deal with insurance, get the part and find time to install it. I hope you find another empty allocations soon my friend.
