Prices are high globally, which tells me it's not an American politician to blame

The previous administration was notorious for doing this. If you didn't complain then, it brings me back to simply wanting to be mad at the opposing political party

The previous administration pledged to nominate a woman for the SCOTUS seat. If people complain now and didn't then, it brings me back to people just wanting to be mad at the opposing political party

And this is again blaming US politics on a global issue. And blaming the government for private sector deficiencies. If this blame is coming from those who typically advocate for small government, then again it's just trying to be mad at the opposing political party.

global issue or not, what is my government doing about this?

And yes, the previous did the same shit, difference being the economy was strong and got better.

The difference is, every dam role except the President was the first …. And the first …. Are they the best qualified? I think it’s great that folks who are qualified get these roles, I don’t like that they are getting there due to their sex and race, kind of sounds like racism…hmmmm. Oh and the last President wasn’t about preaching equality, we for sure can agree on that.

And if the government can keep forcing companies to fire employees for not getting vaccinated, the government has their hands in the private sector, so let’s be real. Again, if people re not able to get their needs met, that’s what the government’s job is. Doesn’t the preamble of the constitution say something about promote the well being, or general welfare of the population. Well the general welfare is taking a big nose dive.

And last, let’s be really 25% will be mad if left is in control, and 25% will be mad if right is in control. It’s the other 50% that matter. I am in that middle 50 and don’t take anything just because they have a D or R next to their name.

Yeah, we had a strong economy through the past 2 administrations and then a global pandemic hit. I think we'd all expect a hit to the economy while we come out of that. I could blame the guy that was in office when that pandemic hit and you can blame the guy that's trying to clean it up, but this is where we'd be no matter who is or was in office.

On top of that, there's been a staffing shortage predicted for the past decade+ when the boomers start retiring en masse.

But hey man, if finding someone to blame makes you feel better then don't let me stop you.

Yes, they are saying the shut down hurt the economy, so ya, I’ll agree one in charge put a bump in the issue, but who has had more time to get shit right?

you can say having someone to blame makes me feel better, it doesn’t. Watching my safety net dwindle, I blame the group in charge now, you know the one that can’t even get shit done with a majority?

oh and what is the current approval rating, I think I saw some nonFox sources saying under 40%, I think there was one poll about a month ago, that was like 33% approval, guess there is not many of that middle 50% happy right now. The person in power gets the blame for shit not working.

And you generally, consistently use public approval ratings to determine how a President is doing, right?

Sorry for my cynicism. I spent 4 years watching way too many people completely abandon all standards of competence and human decency in order to support their guy. I knew that entire time that those standards would flip like a light switch as soon as someone else was in office. And now to watch it play out exactly like I knew it would, it's hard to keep quiet about it.

But I didn't know anyone here during those 4 years. Maybe that's not you.

He lost a lot of support from that middle 50%, I struggled with the treatment of others during those years, but if we learned anything, I hope we learned how money and fame was able to make a vast impact on our system. I’m baffled at the power still had, the fear of being bad mouthed, or maybe I should say the power over others.

I wanted to think on this for a minute, my gut response is it’s a measure we all have access to, a metric to use.

But then I laughed as I am not one to care what others think, and I tend to dislike the popular. But in this situation, I need to use these metrics to gauge where I stand with the general public. And this info has brought me to the conclusion that like me, a majority isn’t happy with the current direction the ship is being guided in.

You're right that his approval rating is low. This site compares to every president since Truman at this point in their term and there's only one President who has been lower. Just one.

If someone pays $115k for this well it’s just dumb and stupid, I am not sure how else to say it.

I retract my earlier statement did not realize it was armored since I never clicked on the details ha.

If i live somewhere I need this it’s just easier to relocate.

i was wondering why it says its armored. spending time in south america would make sense? but it must really bog down the performance with the extra weight.
