As some of you know, I was dead-set on updating my front end to the 14-22 before getting a bumper with a winch mount since the bumpers for 2010-2013 4Runners are terribly priced and the variety of options are small in comparison to the 14-22.

That is.... until ARB dropped the price on their offering to $1450.......

I went ahead and placed an order via BumperSuperstore and got free shipping. For $1450, Free shipping, and already poweder-coated, you cant beat the deal.

Its disappointing to see how many other fabrication companies are selling bumpers for the 10-13 at much higher prices. Sure you can find bare metal for $1250-ish, but after shipping costs and additional wiring you are still going over the $1450 line.

Here's another factor... the ARB is the only one designed and certified to work with your factory airbags.

The only other cost-effective option out there was the DIY weld-kit from Coastal, which if you can weld can save you some massive cash. After the cost of welding and powdercoating, it would have been cheaper than the ARB by about $150 in my estimation. I decided $150 was worth saving the time and hassle of going trough that. Here are the other alternatives:

    ARB

BudBuilt and C4 used to have bumpers but are now gone..

    Hope this helps!

C4s hybrid and overland bumpers fit 10-13. Yes they got rid of the lo-pro since sales were so low. There was a sign up sheet on the other forum, but many did not place orders after the design was completed and released for sale. (I currently have C4s lo-pro)

Bayareametalfabs hybrid bumper fits 10-13. I've reached out to a few people who have it and it looks very similar to C4s hybrid bumper. I am not sure the full bar option fits but the flat and midbar do. It is currently $899 (baremetal no bull bar) on their website and I've seen them run 20% off from time to time.

Victory4x4 has a low pro for 10-13 and their full bumper fits as well.
(Just checked their website and it looks like they also no longer have the lo-pro bumper for 10-13)

I really really like the look of the ARB bumper, and I often think about putting one on my 13.

What concerns me about it is the weight. Between the weight of that monster and a winch, that's got to be close to 200 additional pounds on the front end. Also, I think they actually increased the price. I feel like I looked at these a year or two ago and they were closer to 1200.

I agree with you about the fact that it's airbag compatible being a big bonus. One of the Australian channels, I think it was 4WD 24/7, did a video on this and showed how TJM tests their bumpers to be airbag compliant. I imagine ARB does the same process.

When you install yours, please post up some photos of the install process. I'm curious as to what's involved.

For sure! Right now I cannot find any videos anywhere showing the install of this bumper. Ill try to take some detailed photos and post up a write-up.

And yes.... I am very concerned about the weight added... i'm pretty sure the stock bumper cover and the bumper absorber / absorber mounts underneath will barely add to 15 to 20 pounds. Net weight gain would be 180

My only saving grace is im privileged to have my runner as a recreational vehicle, and if I need to go anywhere I drive my wife's Highlander. The gas mileage I have to imagine will suffer. Ill also do a before and after mileage comparison.

Oooooo I like the ARB too. Are those fogs fixed or can I drop my DD fogs in there?

I was hoping the Victory one was a bit taller, I’m not a fan of thin it looks up front. I like my low Pro version as it’s on mine now.

The fog lights are not fixed, but most likely you will need to come up with your own bracket to hold it in place. this guy used a 3-D printer to make brackets and carryover amber fog
