Has anyone tried to install the coils from a 3rd Gen. Tacoma on a 2000 4Runner?
How much lift did you get?
I have several sets of stock TRD 3rd Gen coils from previous builds. I was thinking about using them on my son's 2000 4Runner. Currently he has a set of 5100's.

Oh and also using a set on my 2005 Tundra. The Coils are really close in size that they should work just fine.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this set up?

Anyone know or heard of someone attempting this?

Or? Will I be the first?

I didn’t know that second and third gen Tacoma suspension parts fit the third generation 4Runner. I just assumed it was the fourth and fifth.

Yeah I've been measuring them and they are really close. I know there was a guy that used the tundra coils on his 4Runner, just needed the correct isolator.
Since My Tacoma is built to what I need I'm getting bored and want to mess around with my other trucks.
