Installed Rago brackets and 4" cube ditch lights. Weather tech mats. Cargo net. Cargo mat. Ordered Gobi rack with ladder.
Now there's the truth. Thanks for informing us. Even more reason to grab one, and that cement color is awesome. My dealer said something about MSRP being around $46k and some change. Everyone watch out for the Markup.

I got another question, but first a little back round. My local dealer is looking for a '16 Trail Premium in Nautical Blue (my only choice of color). My wife likes the heated seats and some other comforts. I like the fact that it has a transfer case lever and locking rear diff.
My question is, if we wait for the '17 TRD Off-Road Premium (in blue), will it have a transfer case lever??
The dealer just gives me the "we don't know anything look", but tells me that they have the '16 in black, white or silver. NO THANKS.
    Thanks for any info guys.

    Steve

Yeah I hear ya, find another dealer. Probably will do that tomorrow.

My understanding is that the Pro's only come black, white, and the special color of the year. So blue would not be an option. Aside from the switch from Quicksand to Cement, don't expect any other changes for 2017. Don't quote me on that though.

Thanks panzr15. I need to do some more searching & learning. Or it's time to let my wife take over the research, I told her "let me try". yeah... no.

So you're not looking for a TRD Pro, you're looking for the TRD Off-Road Premium (formerly the Trail edition premium). Since that's the case, they should have the TEP in Nautical Blue provided they keep the color in the line up for the SR5 model too. I'd just wait until the new year ticks over. I'm fairly confident Toyota will throw 2017 info up on their website by then. It doesn't sound like there will be a lot of selection until March of the new year due to production issues. Check out this site of Toyota's, it may give you some insight.

They do the Pros in only 3 colors each year, white being the one consistent offering of each model year. The other 2 colors change each year. 2015:Black and Inferno Orange. 2016:Magnetic Grey and Quicksand. 2017:Barcelona Red and Cement Grey

    I don't think anything changed for 2017.

Where are you located? There are 75 new blue Trail Premiums listed on cars.com

I don't know mine is a 5th gen 12 model and I do quite a bit of off-roading with mine even though it is SR5 very rarely do I miss Locker rear end because it has A-trackn yes A-track has its limitations as well as non releasing sway bars but it gets me where I want to go most times and if not I just don't go there, ha. I'll tell you what I what I do miss and that is the ground clearance I had before I put the running boards on, just guessing but I bet I lost 5 inches. Well they had one and we bought it. '16 TEP, Nautical Blue. They're going to buy back the stock wheels and install the TRD wheels in Matte Grey.
We pick it up on Sunday.

    Stock so far...
TRD Pro is a nice package. I had a Runner with 3rd row and it isn't that great, but it did serve somewhat of a purpose with my 7 year old. The TRD Pro seems to very capable off road. I have used it in a limited way off road, but what little I did was fairly challenging and it did really well. Plus, the factory stuff just works well.
I don't use a moon roof anyway very often. It cooks ya out here in Cali.

If I had the scratch I'd get a Limited with all the bells and whistles and then make it an off road beast and you'd have a luxury off roader. That being said, any 5th Gen is a luxury off roader, really!
