    Hello,

I bought a used 2014 4Runner. When I unlock the door manually with the key fob, the alarm goes off. I shut the alarm off and put thekey fob key in the ignition it won't start and the alarm goes off again.

Is there a way to stop this.

If you're going to unlock the door manually, don't lock it with the remote.

Locking with the remote means you need to unlock with the remote, otherwise the car thinks you're breaking in.

That's pretty unusual and unexpected behavior if that's how it actually works.

Oh, missed the not starting part (and second alarm). I have no idea about that.

I was only referring to the door opening alarm. It may be related, though.

Even that part is bizarre to me. I've never heard of a vehicle that would sound the alarm if the key was used to unlock the door manually, regardless of how it was locked.
