Yeah I'm hoping to get some
Mpg's back by ditching the 285's.

Hahahaha don't get your hopes up. I saw some dude online running the ST Maxx's at 50psi because around 40-43 he was getting crazy low MPG

Gotta be better than 285 duratrac's though, I would think. I'm barley hitting 200 to a tank. I can't wait to get my charger on though.

I am trying to squeeze 300 out of a tank. My 3.4 Tacoma would do it no problem... my 3.4 runner, not so much.

That's strange that you couldn't get similar numbers if it was modded similarly

Damn what do you guys drive side roads at 35mph. I'm a steady 80 on the highway. That's pretty much what I drive to work and back. It still is only $40ish to fill my tank and I'm normally only putting 13 gal in so I prolly have a little left.

I also have the RTT on the top all the time. But even before it I would not get 300 out of the 3.4. The mountains kill it here in CO.

Holy crap. I've been used to getting 19 to 20 on my Taco, I'm hoping to achieve the same on the 4Runner. I understand it's heavier and has a few more ponies but damn, some of these numbers have me nervous.

It also seems to turn slightly lower RPM than the Tacoma. Around 1,950 at 70mph vs. 2,050 or so at 70mph on the Tacoma. Haven't checked the tranny or rear end ratio but, for whatever reason, assumed they'd be the same.

    I'm at 1900 @ 70. I lately have been hanging in the 75 mph area and that's 2100-2200 rpm.

I'm on par to get Maybe 175 miles to this tank. But I've been driving into 40-55mph winds the last 3 days.

That response was perfect. And relevant since I watched that movie in class yesterday.

Sounds about right. I don't care what I get. If I cared id drive the legacy around and get 36mpg.

Over that Wheeling trip up to bunce, wheeling all day, and back to foco I averaged about 20mpg. Around town 14.

I get tired of pulling over to fill up. Haha

Sam I have a feeling you drive a lot slower than I do! I need to order a scan gauge or find one locally. I need to watch my tranny temps while pulling my atv's this summer.

I'll be in the market for a bigger vehicle in the next few years. I only pull my atv's now and the runner does just fine. I'd like to build a 2nd home first before I buy another vehicle.

Sam as In mr optimist. I drive with the pedal to the floor about 90% of the time. Which is only like 80 85 is a hill is helping. :D that's why I want to put my super charger on so bad so I can actually drive around with it not being floored.

That would suck to have to watch tranny temps :p

I did notice that when I drove yours. You really have to give it gas to keep her going.
