I'm hoping I'm posting this in the correct forum... So sorry if I'm not.

I just put my deposit on a '22 White ORP with the Premium-Plus package that includes MTM.
I've been looking at install videos of the Pro grille but every one seems to be without MTM.
Can this be done and everything work correctly?

Thanks ahead of time, I look forward to finally getting this thing!

I've got the same configuration. Just ordered the 4Runner Lifestyle Pro Grill. It is a cover that goes over the"Crossbar", and a new upper grill section. No need to touch the lower grill section with the TSS Radar and MTM Camera. I figure the worst that can happen is I need to mod the cover piece with a slot for the MTM Camera. BTW, I tried to order the Cover and Upper Grill from my dealer, and if you don't have a Pro VIN, they can't/won't order it for you. The 4RLS one gives you a choice of Black, White, Red and Silver for the letters, and you can get the Upper Grill with "Runner Lights" if you want.

Ahhh gotcha. Keep me posted on how the install goes. I probably won’t have mine for at least a month.

I was researching the same thing last month while I was waiting for my 22 ORP w/ MTM. I ended up ordering a 20-21 upper grill and a 17-19 nameplate. I really contemplated just going with the 20-21 nameplate since I could get it for about $80 less, but I didn’t want the notch cutout for the tss sensor. I decided to go with the combination I did because Taco Vinyl actually sells their kit with two options for 2022, one for with the camera and one for without. My parts are supposed to arrive tomorrow and I hope to install it within a couple days. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I got the grille installed today, and it fit perfectly on my 2022 ORP with MTM.

    PZ323-35056 (2019 heritage nameplate)
    PZ327-35056 (2020-2021 upper grille)

Not all dealers are that way.

I saw the nameplate MSRP's at $560 on parts.toyota.com. Is this where you ordered yours?

Sort of. If you put in your zip code to view more participating dealers, it will give a list of dealers closest to you. I like to go through and see which are the cheapest since each dealer can set different pricing on each part. I’ve found some which are consistently the cheapest, and frequently cheaper than places like BAM by the time shipping is added. Sometimes they run sales too. Just the other day I saw 20% + free shipping. Right now I’m just seeing the free shipping.

Ahh okay good to know. I just picked up the truck last night and want to add this as well the black valances.
When you said you had just gotten it installed, did you do it yourself?

I did. There are lots of videos on YouTube showing how to install the grille, and the instructions for the aftermarket grills are the same as the OEM outside of letter installation. With any vehicle, let alone a brand new one, it can be a bit scary pulling things off hoping a clip doesn’t break, but new plastic always seems to be way less brittle than old plastic. I’d have a hard time imagining anyone breaking anything.

That’s what I’m thinking. I did notice the upper grille (PZ327-35056) is discontinued on the actual parts website. I am seeing dealers that have it though in random places when I google search the part number.

I have a 2022 TRD off road and would like to add the upper grille only. Is that possible or do I need to do the name plate also?

If you plan on doing the lower black valance, the bumper will have to come off, you'll just need to unplug the MTM and TSS harnesses before pulling the bumper. Should be fine with the grille and name plate.

What is your goal of doing this? If I recall correctly the factory Off-Road grill overlaps the crossbar which has an indentation for the Toyota logo. You could replace the upper grill only, but then the crossbar would have the indentation.

Thank You so much for responding. I want to keep the Red crossbar if possible and was hoping that I could just replace the grille upper. So are you saying that the round logo shown in the attached picture is part of the upper grille? Also does the new bar just sit over top of the old bar?

Yes, the emblem is part of the upper grille. The heritage nameplate slides over the crossbar and is attached with double sided tape. If you really wanted to delete the emblem and have a red crossbar without the indentation for the emblem, you could probably find an aftermarket grille kit that doesn’t have the letters, and you could paint it to match.

The chrome bars in the grille can be blacked out with 4runner lifestyle’s covers, and painting or swapping to the black valance would look sick on the red.
