Yes there are 3 sides to every story, but a customer's perception is more important than those 3 stories. And the customer perception is what will be shared over and over.

Want to buy a Rooftop Tent? I can give you my perception of one of the shittiest companies out there, do I know if they are the shittiest? No, but if I share my perception of that company, you will also think they are the shitiest.

Just saying the guy got 21 posts. Not saying hes lying but anyone can come on a forum and post about a company. Maybe something was done on the buyers end to cause this?

So I'll be honest this hasn't changed my perception one bit. Now if others jump on board then maybe.

Ironman 4x4 had my kit late because it was stuck in a crate. When I called, they actually cancelled my order, refunded me my cash, and helped me find a dealer in Kansas City that had the lift in-stock. I was able to get the lift in time and the dealer honored Ironman's discount.

Ironman 4x4 has an excellent relationship with their dealers. I was super satisfied.

So, I thought this thread would have died...but ok, here we go again.

For all of you doubting my side of the story, fine. I am sure you also ignore every review of every product and/or service you see online, is that right? What I posted was my experience, that is it. Take it or not...but anyone on here that thinks I am making this up for sh*ts and (apparently) #giggles (wth is that about anyway?), why would I do that? What would I have to gain from sharing my bad experience? I was simply wanting to give people a warning of what they might experience buying from them.

Bro, I dont think people are doubting your experience, in fact, we appreciate the heads up.

Ever since Kobe died in the helicopter crash and condemned us with with a suck 2020 and the Cober, it seems like customer service and tomfoolery have taken over. Seems like the only two places that cant jack anything up are ChickFilA and Raising Canes. Everyone else is hiring idiots that cant even give a proper greeting.

These forums are checked regularly by enthusiasts, and your experience has certainly created debate. Keep trucking man.

Made a purchase from wheelers last month, I wasn’t very happy with their customer service. Seems like it had gone down since my previous purchase 2+ years earlier.

I bought UCA’s, leaf springs, and some other miscellaneous items. That purchase went smoothly as I didn’t have to Interact with anyone.

However I forgot the bushings for the leaf springs. I had to overnight them from wheelers. When I called to place my order the gentleman on the other end made it apparent I was annoying him by placing an order with him on the phone. When I got my email confirmation for the order they had spelled the address wrong. I called back to correct the error. The person on the other end was super annoyed with my callback.

they ended up overnighting the item to my billing address which was the wrong address and 40 miles away from where I picked to ship it to. Luckily I placed an order directly from deaver as well and they sent it to the right address.

when I called wheelers for a refund they were not helpful. I was highly disappointed with the experience.

I’d say if you’re placing an order on the website and are not in a time crunch or need to speak to a customer service advisor regarding your order I say go for it.

I’ll continue to buy from them if they have a good price and I’m not in a rush. But they are lacking.

Who, me? Listen. Its simple. Look at your last reply. You went on the defensive using the term "I" seven times to justify yourself. The TRUTH is what I said. Yours, theirs and the middle (or the truth as said by Shakespeare).

#giggle is simple. Your story made me laugh. Stop being a victim and realize the world ain't perfect and sometimes, it sucks balls, but for the most part, people are good, people try to do the right thing and sometimes, guys like me get tired of listening to others being victims.

I want to agree with this mindset but I just can't do it. Internet people are real people. There are people on the other end of every post. If someone is being a dick, it's not just some non-existent internet person. It's a real person, being a real dick, to another real person.

What we say matters. Even if the other person is behind a keyboard.

honestly it doesn’t. If someone wants to pick a fight on the internet let them. Why concern yourself with someone’s displeasure of life whom you’ll 99.9% never meet in real life who until that day you didn’t know existed in the world?

This is the problem. Not that you wrong, but so many folks just don’t give shit about the other person that they will never meet. In high school, I was the most popular kid for most of my four years, every one picked on and made fun of me, why because I had a temper due to being dealt a complete shit hand in life. But not a single fucking person cared. They just enjoyed their time at my expense. I’m not looking for sympathy, but this effected me and my school experience. Clearly I had to thicken up my skin, and body the few times I decided to challenge one of the “bullies”.

Words matter, it does not matter if you know the person on the other end, they still can be powerful. Shit the last election was lost because someone was always throwing nasty words at people on the internet.

I find that a lot of people just don’t give a damn about others, not much empathy or support for our fellow humans. Kinda sad really.
