    New brake rotors and pads.

Power Stop rotors with their Extreme carbon ceramic pads. I’ve had this set up on my tundra and loved it. So hopefully it does just as well on the Runner.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Yeah I don't drive much since I retired. If it wasn't for multiple trips from NY to NC (about 625 miles each way) it would be way less!

don't need rotors for our 4runner yet, but our tundra needs them badly. I'll have to check them out.

Ran them on both my Jeeps. Took about 200 good miles to really bed in, but once done, they work well, minimal dust and no rust. Dealer put new rotors and pads on my new to me 2017 Off Road so I wont ahve to worry about that for a while.

I'm a Tundra guy and had PowerStops on mine. They had some bad hot spots. I recommend StopTech Sport cryo treated, slotted only rotors.

I got ARB front and rear and a re-gear done with labor for $4500. Those prices seem a bit high for those parts. ARB lockers sound about right though. You should be able to get front and rear gears for ~$1500 (just checked with sdhq and you can get them for $1629 polished which adds $250). So not bad for a set of nitro gears. There are less pricey options as well. But grand total with ARB is ~$3600. So not bad I would say but not $5-6k like your quoting (unless that includes install then obviously that is a different story).

Went to the powder coat company as my C4 diff skid, C4 gas skid, and C4 rear bumper came in yesterday. They are going to color match to my Gobi setup and then I should have it hopefully by Friday. Then I get to start the install. That crap was heavy (not looking forward to lugging around more weight. Might have to let the misses drive it while I get out and run to save gas ;)).

That’s assembled and shipped to me. With a 5year warranty and that also includes the core charges. If I sent back my factory rear 3rd member and my front clamshell then I would get 1350 back so it would put my total at $3950. But I’m opting to keep my factory 3rd and clamshell so in the event of trading, selling or totaling. I get to keep my built diffs

What rear bumper did you get? I got a quote today to powder mine at roughly $500-$600 for all my parts (gas skid, diff skid, bumper, swing outs, etc.) and he will have it done in 2-3 days. Thought it was worth the peace of mind.

I got the high clearance dual swing out weld it yourself kit from coastal off-road. I didn’t get the full height quarters, wanted to keep the buffer of plastic between the bumper and body panels. Was afraid of them flexing and hitting the body when coming of a ledge or making contact with the ground. That’s a real good price on powder coating, I’ve always just stayed away from it and painted myself due to it rusting under it, doesn’t matter what it’s coated with when you or rig weight drags it on a rock, it’s coming off

Been working a lot on the build lately in the driveway, finally put on the 4 inch spindle lift in the front, put 1.5 inch day star lift in the back. I’m coming from a truck where this would be close to level, but on this 4Runner it has landed me right in the middle of squat city… no thanks. Ordered 2 inch springs and some half inch coil trim packers from toytec to replace the day star. Hoping this will get me closer to where I want to be. Getting destination XTs in 275/60r20 put on tomorrow along with an alignment and brake change (I am having so many brake problems it’s not even funny). Many more things to come, will keep posted along the way!

I have Bilstein 5100 at 1.75” setting with Wheelers Off-road T1 springs (Eibach) and 5100 with Icon 52700 springs (approx 2”) rear. Had to trim fender a little and push the liner forward, but no BMC. The front setting was originally at .85”, but had to raise it a notch after putting on the winch and bumper. Sometimes there is a slight rub at drivers side full lock in reverse, but only on inclines. The Kenda’s are E.

I installed the Desert Does It Seat Jackers (Front and Rear) and the Multi-Mount Panels in my '22 Pro. Installation was simple and took less than an hour to do both front seats. In addition to the MMPs giving spots for things like Fire Extinguisher, knife, flashlights, gun mount, etc... it frees up at least another 1.5-2" of room under the seat from the back to store tool rolls, ponchos, etc. If you don't store under there it adds foot-room for rear seat passengers. It definitely provides a nice front-to-back seat angle for a more comfortable ride.

    https://trail4runner.com/2020/05/14/desert-does-it-4runner-seat-jackers-review/

I did it primarily to free up a little under-seat storage space (from the rear) and to maximize use of the MMPs for storing small items.

I also purchased this to mount on one side. https://elementfire.com/products/element-e50. Still need to mount my items.

Pricey for a minor mod, but I feel the different in storage space and comfort enhancement is worth it. Easy installation.

If you are going to go around bashing into stuff it is the perfect time to upgrade your bumper to a real bumper. Not that plastic stuff. :boink:;)
