    Not relevant. Your truck can’t handle that much weight.

    20 years ago I’d say the tire with the bigger load rating would be a stiffer ride, not so much these days.

    Yes.

    But, what are you going to use it for?

    The more abuse, the more I'd lean towards the LT/E.

    If not, I'd go with the lighter tire.

    Honestly, I’m new to the 4w game. I’d like to get into it but it’s going to be a daily driver for the most part.

    If you live in an area where snow traction is a concern, I'd avoid MT's.

    Aside from that, a good AT will be a better all around tire. An MT will be much better in mud, and probably a bit more durable.

    What tires?

    The difference is in the sidewall ability. Most C load tires have 6 ply sidewalls making them far better for airing down and getting more sidewall flex. They tend to track better on lighter vehicles on poor roads. E load index usually have 10 ply. They ride much stiffer, make bumps a lot harder because they are intended for bigger, full-sized vehicles, primarily 3/4 ton and up. Much stiffer sidewalls make them perform poorer on rocks due to the inability of the tire to flex and to create a larger contact patch.

    For these rigs, always a C load unless you load yours heavy and tow a large trailer, regularly.

    With some tires, particularly MT's, load range C isn't an option. Mine flex just fine aired down. :D

    That said, I'd still agree that C is ideal when it's an option.

    Pressure washer. Some guys will put a sprinkler under the car.

    I have 2 sets of ramps. Sometimes I'll remove the front skid. I recommend removing the spare as well.
