Just installed 285's and getting a some rubbing on body mounts. I want to do the BMC myself but have no experience with welding. Can any recommend a shop or someone on this forum with experience? I'm located in Southern Maryland are but willing to drive to get it done. Thanks

Im in centralish MD and went to Iron Pig Offroad in Fredericksburg, VA. I supplied the plates and it cost maybe 2-3hrs of labor in an afternoon.

Awesome! I'm a little over 30 minutes from Fredericksburg. Thank you for sharing. Would you happen to remember what it cost?

Pre cut plates can be had from various vendors for $20-$40 depending on who you go with. Or Iron Pig can cut some themselves. My invoice from getting the same work done was $250. Plus the plates, about $30.

Okay thanks. Sounds much more reasonable than the last 2 quotes I have gotten.

Make sure they take the negative cable off the battery while welding?
