    Has anyone installed Autostart in a 2022 4Runner TRD? Was told today couldn’t be installed because the steering lock harness is missing on the 2022 for aftermarket auto starts. Has anyone else encountered this issue. Or is the lock harness hidden somewhere? Thanks.

    I can’t help you but I will say that some people have had electrical gremlins after installing an aftermarket remote start system.

    But others have been successful. So I would do a thread search.

    Doesn't the TRD already have remote start? I do know I've seen people that had it and didn't know it.

    Push the lock button on your key fob 3 times, hold it on the 3rd push. Just to make sure.

    I have checked for the Autostart with factory fob. No deal unfortunately. I’m just dumbfounded that the stereo shop is telling me the electronics changed from 2021 to 2022 for the auto start installation
