I don’t think I’d ever buy a Ford, but his last Escape was trouble free for 10 years.

My God, those boxy Escapes were tanks. Taxi drivers beat the crap out of them, and they're still on the road. Of all the American car companies, I like Ford the most. They do a pretty good job compared to the others.

Next time you get into a taxi, ask the guy how many miles he has on it, he'll tell you more than 350k.

That’s what he had. The boxy version that was twins with the Mazda Tribute.

I was shocked when he told me he bought it, especially at a bit over MSRP. He hates spending money on cars. He could afford a Lamborghini, Ferrari, McClaren, etc. But he chooses to drive a Ford. Gave his wife a XC90.

He’d much rather spend his money on real estate and vacations.

I just told him I’m glad you didn’t buy a Jeep. Lol.

I had a taxi from San Francisco Airport, and the guys Escape had 380,000 Miles. He said that he only replaced the Hybrid battery, that's it
