Rescue mission!?? Great pics and do tell of said “mission”. I’m looking at recovery gear now. We are about to get snow and last year I didn’t have anything for my Tacoma. Told myself I wouldn’t do the same with the 4 runner.

Some parts of the peninsula here got, what felt like 2.5-3 Feet of snow unforcasted overnight. I had a good friend of mine stranded without power in his house with his girlfriend and two dogs. They have a JK 4 door but it’s got some worn out stock tires. So I cleared a trail for them to get out and go to work/ stay with relatives. I didn’t have any recovery gear but a folding shovel had just bought. I have experience with snow driving growing up in Wyoming, but man driving up to the huge snow pack on the road got my heart pumping. It made me want a winch pronto.

Yep they are capable but man am I happy to be done with the traction control system and just have lockers all around, have it lifted, and recovery gear. This was in January last year:
