I just got the truck this week, and did my very first mod! The rubber insert in the cup holder kept coming off with my wife's water bottle, so I'm hoping this velcro will keep it in place. Stuck the fuzzy part on the bottom so it won't make any noise when I put bigger water bottles without the insert. Hope it works!

I’m too lazy to do this after over 2 years. I just drink out of my yeti with it stuck on the bottom lol

I got really tired of the rubber cup holder pulling out with my Yeti so purchased these hard plastic replacements from ETSY and they do the trick. No more pulling out with my coffee…

I got them in black to match the interior but you can get other colors if you are so inclined. They fit well…

If this lasts longer than a week or two for you than congrats. The adhesive on the industrial hook and loop didn't hold up. Hot summer days will cause it to release fast too.

Ironically the cupholder insert was the first replacement part I had to buy for my 4Runner after I lost the first one.

My wife saw me drinking with that rubber insert on my cup and said twist the cup as you lift it. Low and behold it stayed in the cup holder. But the velcro is a cheap fix too.

I have been looking for a round Velcro like that. Where did you get the Velcro?

Yep, I’ve got them in my 2021 T4R OR and they work great. They stay put when I pull out my Yeti coffee cup instead of coming out with the cup like the OEM versions. Glad I got them…

    Cheers,
    Bob
