I have not posted much on this site, but here it goes.
For some reason every few days my WIFI stops working. My wife is using her phone, and it is not connected to the 4Runner WIFI because I have to go back in and press the Yes button to turn it back on.
This should not be happening, as it was fiine the first several months of driving.
Is there anyone else having this same problem? My wife was looking it up on google, and it was a big deal in that it is happening a lot to a lot of other folks.
I have any appointment to take it in to have the system checked, but like some other stuff, I am sure they will not have an answer. I may cancel, as the Toyota dealer service is rather low on my list of good quality..........

You ever get this sorted out? I'm having the same issue with WiFi turning off, and having to go back into Settings to turn it on each time I get in the car.

It's still happening! It really pisses me off.
Have been to the dealer and have dropped it off twice, only for them to tell me that they could not duplicate the problem! I also sat in my vehicle with a service manager as he downloaded a thumb drive to update the systemjust a week ago, and it started back to the same problem the next day.
I cannot believe that there is no one on this forum that can relate to this with the exception of you. You are the ONLY person that has given me any kind of feed back, good or bad.
This goes on several times throughout the day, and it is extremely irritating!
    Thanks for the reply.....

It's happened to me a very few times, but I chalk it up to interference, maybe a high energy source nearby? IIRC Bluetooth is in the 2.4Ghz range and that band is very crowded. Still it should be rare that this happens since most phone and car tech uses some type of mitigation. In my case, I was parked very close to a electrical power substation, no telling what was being generated.

"We could not duplicate the problem", this does not surprise me at all. When we picked up our new 2020 the 'electronic guru' at the dealership after about 45 mins of trying to get Alexa working said, "that system is obsolete anyway". My wife and I got it working on our own in about 10 mins. after carefully reading the owners manual. Anyway I believe the Entune program is somewhat finicky, I'm sure we have 'dropped' wifi also. I'm not a electronics type of guy, but, it seems to work... kinda.. sorta, I also understand your frustration... BTW, another dealership had our 4Runner in their shop and they said there were 2 upgrades they were downloading to the system, this seemed to help a lot.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
My 2019 doesn't have any of this as far as I know. I'm fine with that.

Our 2021 Highlander has the ability to remote start from a cell phone. It seems like a cheap gimmick to me as you can be standing right next to the car and it takes forever to work / start.

My feelings on these systems is - if you want the latest technology buy a shitbox like a Kia or Hyundai. If you want a vehicle which will last 300k to a million miles buy a Toyota.
