Hi all I’m looking for a set of black wheels for my new runner. I want to stay close to stock size. If I could I’d go with steel I love that look but alas I was told they steel doesn’t work on the runner. any thoughts? Should I just go with oem TRD or the trail wheels if I can find a set for a decent price (unfortunately cannot post a WTB yet).
thoughts would be appreciated. I hate the stock wheels (and tires for that matter).
American Racing has a wheel that looks good and would fit but they are $200 per. Are they worth it?

I personally didn't want something that every other person had (pro wheels). If you're going aftermarket you're going to pay $200+ for wheels. Seach locally. There is a set locally where I am and he breaks down the pricing in his post -

What you find aesthetically pleasing, other may not. That's what is cool, make it your own.

    I went with RRW wheels.

    Those look nice.
I’m planning on moving to a 255/75/17 tire as well so I don’t want a wheel that is much wider than OEM.

Looks like most if not all 255/75/17 tires fit between 6.5" - 9.0" rim.

I was curious so I had to look it up.

I like my RRW hybrid wheels. They can be bead lockers if you want or just regular wheels.
