Below freezing the PCS Off (Pre-Collision System) light is on on the dash if I shut the truck off & restart it goes back to normal, the 2nd time I drove tilt went out on it’s own. Just happened again today showed PCS off on the dash and in the settings the same i switched it on through the dash light still stayed on. Checked it no codes when i scanned it, so it will not go to the dealer unless it stays on all the time because you know the dealers if the problem it isn’t there than nothing is wrong bla bla bla.

Any one have this happen below 32deg only.

No frost i checked that every time & no ice either. It didn’t happen today and was just below 32deg. i guess I’ll just wait till it happens all the time & hope it sets a code or something.

I'm a newb and only have 2000 miles on my 4R, but the yellow light came on the other day while it was lightly raining and about 42°F outside. It only stayed on for about 30 seconds, then shut off on its own, no codes or anything. I just figured that that the front facing camera/laser was temporarily obscured by raindrops on the windshield. The light never came back on for the rest of the 350 mile trip despite the intermittent rain and fog.

The TSS works using the radar sensor and the camera on the windshield. If the light comes back, it might be worth checking the windshield in front of the camera for frost or anything else on it.

This is likely due to your sensor (a small black rectangle on your grill) being blocked by dirt, snow, etc.. Once you clear it, it’ll go back to normal.
