Installed their TPMS today. Had to get their app of the website to get it to work.

Pretty good. It tends to crash when I auto connect to CarPlay. Then again that’s been locking up on me lately anyway. All I do is restart it and it’s fine.

Wonder if there is a way to not have it auto-run so you can get into CarPlay first. I don’t know enough about android to set it up that way.

cool that it shows the temp too!

Anyone get the HD version yet?

It looks like it's actually cheaper on Amazon to get the HD version but the wait is longer? Is that the only difference between the two versions (480p vs 720p)? I have a 2019 ORP btw.

Summit, did you ever make that video with the discount code?

I thought about the HD but didn’t want to wait haha. Screen quality has been great for me.

I still need to make a video when I install my external mic. Vendor didn’t really seem to want to do a discount code after discussions so I haven’t pushed it

Ok yeah, I went ahead and ordered the 480p version from Amazon. Looks like the HD would ship from China (over a month eta). Amazon has a $40 coupon right now btw.

Yeah I saw that huge delay on the HD one. I was a bit cautious as I wanted a readily available replacement if something were to go wrong (I bought the warranty).

The Tacomaworld guys love their Dasaita's but its still made in China, so never hurts to make sure you have quick access to a replacement :).

After reading all of the discussions on here I decided to get one for myself. I am loving it so far even though I’ve only had it for a few days. The only issue I have is that a few of my steering wheel keys no longer get work. On the left side the left, right, and middle buttons have no responsiveness. I really want to hot key my controls, but without those I’m limited in functions. Anyone else have this issue?

Also, has anyone connected theorems to an OBDII yet? I was thinking about getting the blue driver and the Torque app but not sure if it’s worth it.

Haven’t mess with the OBDII but you have to reprogram your keys for them to all work. You can do that at the Zlink start up screen. There is also a key programing under steering controls. My experience it’s a combination of the 2 and experimenting with the 2

@Crossfit4Runner beat me to it, but you can re-map steering controls in the settings!

That is what I was trying to do originally. However the new head unit does not even register the key strikes.

May be a canbus issue if it doesn’t recognize it. I would hit up Dasaita!

I remember having a issue in zlink till I discovered the ones that were already preset could be deleted and reprogrammed.

4BA59F64-6D95-4928-A1B9-08359B0C0ED4.jpg Accidental mod…. Tired of the Dasaita name on your head unit? The chrome logo off my key fob fell off and it fits perfectly on that black strip. Used some electrical tape to cover the name and then stuck the Toyota logo there. Electrical tape doesn’t really match well. May go to a sign shop and see if they’ll give me a piece of black vinyl that might match better. Any other suggestions?

Not a fan of the Dasaita logo either. Like what you did with the Toyota logo! Electrical tape is as close as I can think of right now but would love to have something looking factory

It’s Car Launcher. It replaces the original launcher and you can download and make your own themes. I just installed it
Last week, so haven’t really played with it yet. Just using the free version to try it out. Got tired of Agama launcher and decided on this one instead. I’ll see how it goes.

There's a link to one in this thread, if not just search youtube. There are a few on there, also the T9/T10 head unit install would work.

How did you change the default launcher? I've been using AGAMA as well but want to try the OEM launcher but I can't find where to change it.

I used the T9 install video created by King Sev and had no problems at all. It all worked when I was done. Just had to do a system update to fix an issue with CarPlay.

if you have Agama set to auto launch, just go into the Agama settings and switch that off. You might be able to do that in the HU settings. Unfortunately my wife took the 4Runner this morning so I can’t check. As soon she gets back I’ll take a look.

SummitBound, Crossfit4Runner, and JMPereZ64 — big kudos for keeping up on this thread. You’ve sold me on it. Also, inspired me to join this forum, seems like a good community.

I’ve heard some things about touch responsiveness, how has that been overall?

This worked. It shows the OEM launcher as well as AGAMA so I just selected the OEM launcher as the default.

The OEM seems to be a better fit for this unit. Move widgets, shortcuts, select wallpaper, long hold on blank areas, etc, is all the same as customizing your android phone. I jumped the gun going for AGAMA without giving the default launcher a good testing first.
