Total miles on vehicle? Oil changes before analysis? Oil brand before analysis? If you only have 8K on a '17, you drive less than I do. LOL!

66k on truck, oil before this sample was Castrol Magnatec 0w20.
It doesn't get driven daily, use it for trips and hauling kids around.
Bought it used in 2018 with around 46k miles, carfax said it was serviced regularly at the dealership (toyota genuine oil maybe ).
Got this analysis done to give me an idea on how the oil fares for 1 year or 10k miles with my driving style, by the sound of it seems like these engines are pretty easy on oil.

I'm OCD wth oil. Every 5k miles no exception and only 93 octane. I drive stop/go city traffic then b*lls out highway everyday. My previous suv vehicle I had for 22 years 503k zero issue miles and took cylinder head off prior to donating "her" to find the cylinder and valves looked absolutely pristine which after 22 years of hard driving was a testament to shorter oil change intervals and higher octane fuel. My mechanic pointed me to the 4runner saying it's the only SUV today that'll even give me a chance at anything close to those stats.

Has anyone ever seen a “bad” used oil analysis on a 4Runner?

93 doesn’t contain more cleaning abilities than 87. Unless recommended 87 is all it needs. Top tier fuels is pretty much all you need. Run a fuel system cleaner every once in a while if it make you feel better…I do, lol. I’ve done many runs to 10K oci and my valve train is spotless.

Thanks for the support. Higher octane only matters with higher compression. That’s my understanding. I’m open to being educated.

So viscosity at 100 degrees went down to 7, from 20 cold oil. If you use 5w30 viscosity at 100 will be 10-12. Next 4runner in 2023 probably will be using 0w16, so at 100 deg it's gonna be, like 3-4 ?

Your educated enough. Forced induction or high compression need higher octane.

91 is recommended and it’s NA, so it doesn’t help.

Remember you can’t get 93 octane in most of the United States, and it doesn’t help most cars and trucks unless you do an ECU flash.

Yow. At a South Bay PRC Costco is $4.15 / $4.45. The lines are incredible.
