I recently joined AAA and after I paid, I thought, that was stupid. I own two 4Runners.;)
Oh well, it's good for any vehicle I'm in.

I’m just a member to avoid ever going to the DMV.

Apologize for my dumb question, why do you have to go to DMV other than major things like driver license? License plate, renewal, address change,etc.. they are all on line right?

The reason to join AAA is to get faster service like those? (License plate & renewal)

I thought AAA is mainly for roadside assistance if you are not getting them from your insurance?

I'm 100% trying to learn since I haven't looked at AAA. Thanks in advance..

In California AAA provides DMV services.

There is considerably less waiting, the staff is actually friendly and helpful, and you’re likely not to get murdered.

I have been a AAA member for a long time. Once I lock my keys in the 4Runner while in a campsite. Called AAA and the guy came out and unlocked the door for me and it cost me nothing. I have had them tow my wife's RAV4 out of a ditch and given me a jump when the battery died.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
I don't currently have AAA but I did in the past and used it to help friends out with tows & lock outs.

Maybe it wasn't a bad investment afterall.
Gotta look at it the same way I do insurance I guess.
