I notice the tires most when I try to accelerate quickly. Otherwise, it feels normal. 4.88 seems like overkill, but makes sense if you're towing a lot.

Ya I was recommended to go with 4.88s from nitro with all the gear and towing I do.

    Pumper? Haha

The stock spare is still underneath due to tpms. Waiting on SCS to release more F5s so I can buy a matching full size spare.

I have a RIGd ultraswing that I’ll be carrying the full size spare on.

I have no idea what I was trying to type. Nothing makes sense in that statement. Darn phone autocorrect! :der:

Yep.. that is probably it. Funny thing is that I rarely if ever say that so it didn’t stick out to me. But I meant it! Pumped for you @captrussia253 cant wait to hear/see this. Man it would be cool to go wheelin with you all in PNW. If you all ever find yourself back East let me know.

I figured that’s what you meant haha.

The PNW definitely has some awesome places to explore.

I have family in Massachusetts and do plan on visiting again but lately things have kept me too busy.

    Update on the 35s

Still slightly rubbing on full lock and in reverse. I cut up more plastic and will do another more aggressive BMC. Most likely will also install a 1” body lift.

I also installed a throttle controller. This has been a huge improvement. I have it on city mode and GX feels like it’s back on 33s. I still plan on regearing to 4.88s just need to save up.

    Thanks!

Oh also ordered larger bump stops to help avoid too much up travel when reversing at full lock. Should help prevent it from rubbing. We shall see.

Got a brand new 35x12.50r18 for $40 off offerup and got it installed on my oem spare wheel for now until the F5s are available in about 10 years haha.

Kinda digging the oem look with 35s. Might sell my F5s
