    Hi !
I was wondering if anyone can help me.
About 6years ago I lifted my truck ( 2" or so - level ) and shortly after the kdss light came on.
At the time, I took it in to the dealer, They didn't want to work on it. ( small town, and they were not experienced with kdss )
The truck has always driven the same, and the light has been on since.
I'd like to turn the kdss light off permanently.
Is there a easy way to do this ?
example, a fuse, or unhook light from dash ? or other way.

    Thanks
    Mark,

Did you open any of the valves on the kdss accumulator when you did the lift?

Thank you for the reply. not that I am aware off. Is it something easy to look for ? I don't think the installer would have touched that. but maybe they did.

KDSS light is important to know the status of your KDSS. You can contact Toyota corporate (800-331-4331) and ask for a dealer who can diagnose the problem and fix it. Here in CO I've seen few fixing KDSS and its doable with Toyota dealer.

    https://www.toyota.com/support/contact-us/

Edit - If by any chance if you are in CO let me know I can give the details of Toyota dealership who knows to fix KDSS problems.

When the dealer looked at years ago. they told me that if they pressurized the system. it could blow the lines . as the truck was 5years old at the time. But they had never touched kdss. And didn't want to touch it.
Have you heard of lines blowing when they add pressure to the hydraulics ?

Sounds like a bad dealer. Good Toyota dealerships are equipped to fix KDSS. Try talking or sending a message to Toyota with your zip code. They should be able to direct you to correct dealer. If it didn't work you can report back. I have very good experience with Toyota Corporation. They have help me few times when dealer mess up things.
