Forgive the dark pic but I just got her home a little while ago. 22 ORP with MTM and several other options I wanted. Also has sunroof but I wish it didn't lol.

Black trd wheels and 275 Falkens going on it shortly. Love it.

Lunar Rock looks great in that trim. Congrats!

Wish I did not have a sunroof either.

Congrats on the '22 ORP. Welcome to the club. And Lunar rock to boot. Nice addition to the FJ.

Ordered the Toyota overlays but they were for an SR5. They're drop shipping the correct ones here this week.

I put on the pro grill and predator lights today.

Started installing SSD fogs from diode Dynamics but only got driver side on lol. There's a cover on the back of the passenger side fog that I haven't been able to remove yet.

No reason they couldn't have a tab on the far side and a single screw on the near side. No reason for it to be this difficult.

I don't even see he need for the cover in the first place. Never caused a problem when I left it off my Pro.

Yeah, no idea why Toyota would even put this piece to cover one side but not the other? But good to know I won't lose 10HP with it off. :D

@Hydro556 looks so fresh!! Now get those valances swapped too! I wrapped both mine with vinyl but I had a hard time looking at the front ones due to the 2 holes drilled from the license plate mount. I replaced it with a new black one and now I'm "holeless", if that makes any sense.

Removed the predator bars, tinted the front glass and had the raptor lights blackened because they looked gaudy to me.

Why do so many dislike the sunroof? Is it because of fear of leaking (I had an SR5 truck years ago that had a sunroof that would leak in heavy rains due to the drain plugging up from time to time).

I don't dislike it but frankly the novelty wears off after a little bit of use. Plus yes its just another possible failure point of the vehicle that could lead to expensive repairs.

I never use it really and it just compromises headroom. I'm tall so prefer headroom lol.

They rob certain vehicles of some headroom for us tall folk. Not sure about the 4Runner as I don't have one. Test drove a couple Taco's w/ them and it was noticeable.

Sunroof failures are exceedingly rare these days.

And unless you are an exceptionally large human being, you will not notice the slightly decreased amount of headroom with a sunroof. Of course, on the Internet everybody is 6 foot 5 and pure muscle.

Most people on these forums who are whining about long term sunroof failures trade their vehicle after two years.

Mine has lived outdoors for almost 9 years and under very extreme weather conditions without any problems.

I'm 6 foot 3 barefooted lol. And keep my vehicles forever. Still got my 08 fj I bought new.

I can easily make my head hit the ceiling by just sitting up straight.

May not bother you, but I would much prefer no sunroof. Lol

I will say, I was not aware how much headroom it would dig into. Of course no dealers had even used 4Rs available near me so it was really a vehicle I got unseen. I have no trouble with headroom up front, but felt that the rear was lacking a bit due to the higher seating position. If it wasn't for the cutout in the ceiling, my head would be touching. And I'm only 5'9".

Well. I'm not pure muscle but I am 6 ft 7 in. in reality. I do just fit in my '22 ORP with moon roof but tend to leave the visor open so I can tilt my head into the opening while having the steering telescoped fully in and up and the driver's seat fully down and back and slightly reclined to make me fit. And that's not an internet claim.

Love the Luna Rock. Maybe I'll trade mine in for one , lol .
I have the wasted sunroof, I never slide it open in Florida. It's just there.
    Enjoy, you will love it.
