Ok literally just got home from giving my ‘19 to the dealership as a trade….. they gave me a rental until my ‘22 AG ORP comes in at the end of the month. They gave me almost $43k for my trade, which was more than any other offer i got, including carmax. Total for the new rig was just under $58k with all the accessories on her. I’m super happy with this dealership- took all of 4 hours of (mostly) texting yesterday to get the deal locked down. Can’t wait to take delivery of the new Runner!

These are the wheels included on my “Black wheel package “ on my MGM ORP i got this week…did NOT come with the Pro Nittos. This pic is of the new Faulkin AT3s i had put on. The more i look into my truck the more i’m glad i didn’t spend the additional 10k on a Pro. Next step is to install a Fox 2.0 lift and she will be pretty much what is was looking for.

My interior ended up being the black seats with a gray interior…exactly what i was hoping for. Not sure where the “bamboo” came from…

What size tires did you put on them? And do you have a pic of the whole 4 runner? Looks great BTW. I’m looking at the same wheel and tire setup.

These are the standard 265 70 17 sized tires…same as stock, but i like the more aggressive look of the Falkens

I just googled black bamboo right now. Pretty interesting. I guess it's their shade of black? Anybody know?

    Kyx nerfbars, TRD roof rack.
I had just started looking a few weeks ago and most of the dealers only stock 2wd in Florida. The one dealer I talked to didn't have any in stock. I started watching their web pages and saw a local dealer had a blue sr5 4wd in transit and ran right over to make a deal. It was supposed to arrive 12/3 but was delayed until 12/7. I was stalking the place waiting for it. They wouldn't deal much with the shortage. I paid 51k with taxes and fees. It included the paint wrap and window tint and maybe other minor stuff. They offer a 20/200k warranty though. I had them replace my roof rails with a trd rack which cost maybe 1100 installed. 800 and like 285 for labor.

Picked mine up yesterday... All-in-all, a pleasant experience with no surprises. Even thought I put quite a few miles on my trade between appraisal and turn-in, no push back at all. No surprises in finance, although I did get the 3-engine run on add-ons, there very little "but, but" when I politely declined.

They beat my Navy Federal Credit Union pre-approved loan rate, which enabled me to take advantage of the $750 military veteran rebate, as well.

So far, happy with the black TRD Pro (even though I was originally looking for Nautical Blue ORP!).. the standard option extras that come with the Pro... dual zone climate controls, remote start, remote connect, exhaust, upgraded stereo, TRD skids, etc.... while not necessarily being truly "cost efficient" are all things that I think I will use and enjoy - especially since I got this one at MSRP.

Now to begin outfitting it. I specifically did NOT want the factory sides steps, so I've already received my AlphaEquipt Rocksliders - hope to install those today, and a number of small minor accessories (glove box and console organizers, rain guards, black tag frames and screws, Tundra TRD Pro black w/ red stitching shift knob, etc... are either received or on the way. Next stop after those is darker tint and a nice, small, well-sized waterproof pelican or plano case for seldom needed, but potentially valuable items to be stored on the roof.

Whoa! Glad you're OK with the deal. May I ask what accessories you got to increase the amount to almost 58K?

Yes, pro wheels and tires, pro skid plate, pro roof rack, black out emblems, all weather mats, black exhaust, 2.5” lift, predator tubes, premium package (not sure what that means) and off road premium package (also not sure what that is exactly lol) … I feel like I’m forgetting some but those are all the big things I think.

Nice shopping list, mine's still pretty much a blank slate with the exception of the RSG sliders I ordered

True, but trying to NOT go wild on it. I like the things that look good (as well as work good), but tend to think a while before buying and see if I think I "really" need something.
Added a thread that hits on what I think my first 10 items to upgrade/modify/accessories - already made me rethink at least one, so kind of helps - hoping to get more people to add their own 10 items since I know there's quite a few that have taken delivery recently.;)

Yes lol my experience has been one of constantly talking about adding all the mods and stuff but never actually having the money to do so haha this is better. It’ll be pretty much all I want. Possibly add a better stereo and bigger tires down the road but I can’t wait to see her all done!

Salesperson wasn’t sure, but she thinks it a billstein. She will find out for sure tomorrow. They have a local shop that does all their lifts (they add the lifts/wheels etc a lot), not at the actual dealership.

Hey guys! So I am waiting very impatiently for my 2022 army green TRD ORP to get here! My salesperson said Dec 28-Jan 4. It got to the port 11/20. My question is I have the Toyota app, I saw about two weeks ago there was a mile put on my 4runner, and yesterday there is a quarter tank of gas but no additional miles. So interested about that and also my 4runner showed up on the dealership website, was up there for two days and now it’s gone. Anyone have any insight if any of that means anything like I will get the vehicle sooner or think what my salesperson is saying is probably accurate? Thanks!!

I cannot speak to the app but I know mine when I ordered showed up on the dealer website. I called my sales person and was told they automatically get loaded on the site with dummy type of photo. They assured me it was marked as sold and as being an order at the dealer and in no way was going to be offered to anyone else.

My dealer was good and kept me up to date. Called me when the semi truck arrived and I had him put it inside the service area overnight so no prying eyes could check it out at night. I picked it up very next morning.

good luck with everything and congratulations

I'm also planning to have dealer take care of the Bilstein install when my ORP finally shows up. I talked to the dealership parts guy and it seems like the dealer service dept will do the install.

They said it’s called Rim1 but that they only do install work for dealerships. Apparently they are located in Tempe.

Interesting how the experiences differ so much between dealerships, eh? It’s been a 4 month long roller coaster ride over here haha I’m so ready to take delivery!
