First noticeable differences over the Tundra:

Can’t talk to power, haven’t had her over 2500rpm yet. Still breaking her in. Obviously less grunt.

The cruise/adaptive cruise is really aggressive. It does a very good job however. I did find it interesting that it wouldn’t adjust for an over speed (going down a large hill) more than twice. Will have to pay attention closer next time. As it was, it adjusted the speed (7 over set) aggressively and recovered nicely…twice. The third time it just said “Screw it I’m out” and kicked off the cruise.

Snow builds up like Bish on the rear window while driving. No big deal.

 

Lol. A little off topic, but my 2001 on cruise control on 50 mph single lane backroads was freaking insane. It couldn’t modulate the throttle for crap. It was scary the few times I tried out out. Looked like we were fleeing a crime scene. Much more suitable for regular highway travel.

Staying under 2500 rpm must be brutal in its own right.

No worries here. My ‘16 Tundra will do the same. It’ll downshift after a 10 difference, but that’s it.

Not a bad experience overall. Looked at incoming inventory, “haggled”, waited, picked her up.

I bought a brand new Mazda 6 from them back in 2005. It was a stress free experience.

When my GF was looking for a new vehicle 7 years ago she reached out to them, but she felt they were way too pushy. So we crossed them off her list.

I’ve never been back for service, so no experience there.

Not sure if the 4runner is like my Tacoma but it comes with remote start that no one at the dealership knew about. Click the lock button three times the first 2 quick and on the 3rd time hold it for about 6 seconds the lights will flash 5 times and it will start. has a pretty short range but once you get the rhythm it works well. When we ordered my wife's 4runner the salesman told me i was wrong about my Tacoma till i showed him.
