The 2022 how much and how long was your wait thread

Similar build to what I'm looking for as well. I've only been looking hard for 6-7 weeks and it seems that this combination of options is rare, but it is out there and being built. Seems like the Central-Atlantic sales region on east coast and the Los Angeles sales region in CA pop up with that grouping more frequently than others. To my knowledge, SE Toyota will not order/preference a truck set up that way at all. Good luck!

 

Contact Katie Byram at Haley Toyota of Midlothian VA (just outside Richmond). I ended up finding a Pro at a different dealer for MSRP, but she was helping me when I was looking for an ORP. I specifically DID NOT want KDSS and that seemed more difficult. But she contacted me several times with in-bound Allocations of ORPs with KDSS, Premium Plus and a moonroof. Even a Lunar Rock one recently. They don't mark up ORPs, either.

I never thought about this but when I was searching, I did notice there were more KDSS options out here in the CA region, which I did not want. But just be careful dealers are hungry here in CA and the mark up is ridiculous. But GL on your search.

 

I now believe in Christmas Miracles...landed my MGM ORP last night. Not exactly the Pro I was looking for but with the Black Wheels, TRD skid plate and emblem black out package....really, really close. The truck is just gorgeous. Getting some new Faulken tires on Friday.

 

I put down a deposit on an incoming 2022 Barcelona Red ORP on November 18th from a dealership here in Houston that was NOT adding the stupid "Market Adjustment" fees to the price of their vehicles. The dealership literally 2mi from my house was adding ~$5,000 on top of each vehicle for mandatory dealer-installed options and the market adjustment. No thanks, go scam somebody else!

Hoping to take delivery in the next couple of weeks and ideally before Christmas, but this wait is killing me!!!!!!!

 

Got my money in on a 2022 ORP in Barcelona Red Metallic. W/ MTM, and KDSS. Put money down last week of September. Haven't heard anything. Sales guy told me he hasn't gotten an allocation for me as of 12/8/2021, but had a MGM w/kdss coming in. While I like the color, it's the same color as my wife's Highlander. Just as a moral imperative I can't own two cars the same color... So I am still waiting....

 

I am the opposite own three vehicles all Silver lol. I guess we all just like what we like

 

Toyota line must be on the MGMs, I am waiting on a AG with KDSS, and got a message end of last week, they have been allocated a MGM with KDSS as well.

 

Car max online offer is 4k more than the dealer quoted me for trade in. When the times comes, I will stop by Carmax on the way to the dealership and verify what Carmax offer is that day, then see what the dealership will offer for trade.

 

out of curiosity, what is the dealer using to guide their offer? KBB? NADA?

 

In late September placed $500 deposit at Longo Toyota for a Super White TRD Off Road Premium w/o KDSS and expect delivery in mid December.

 

I didn't ask, once they have the vehicle in route, I'll push more. This is with Berlin, I have another dealership looking as well.

Looks great in Off-Road trim, better then the PRO. Nice truck!

 

I experienced the exact opposite. Carmax offered me 20k and the dealership offered me 24k as the trade-in value for my MB E400 coup.

 

Just reserved an MGM TRD-ORP arriving in a couple of weeks. I have been wanting a 4runner for awhile, but finally decided to pull the trigger.

 

thanks! i really had a hard time trying to visualize how the ORP would look in lunar with its subtle changes from the pro. no videos, no pictures were available when i ordered. but im glad it turned out the way it did! happy with the combo so far.

 

I just received word that there's an army green ORP en route to a dealer I've been working with. It doesn't have KDSS which is a major bummer for me. Does anyone know if the "TRD wheel package" is the new 2021+ style pro wheel or the pre 2021?

 

it SHOULD be the new wheel package, but I would check with the dealer to make sure.

 

Sheehy Toyota in Fredericksburg. It was a fluke... stumbled into an order that had fallen through. They tried to tack on $2K of add-ons (Resistall paint and interior protection) but I was able to negotiate that out. Don't yet have it in hand, though - it's due in next week, so not a "done-deal" yet.

 

I got the quote back from the dealer. $51,583 out the door. I am beginning to think I should have shopped for a used TRD-PRO . Be that as it may, once it comes in and I take deliver, Ill be selling the running boards.

 

What’s the options on it?

 

Placed an order with Mountain States in Denver in September- flying there to pick it up next Monday- sunroof and kdss ORP- except for a minor lack of communication early in the process the dealership has been great to work with - MSRP

 

Forgot to ask - rubber floor mats- does anyone have a recommendation? Lasfit, Weathertech, stock???

 

I like weathertech, the 4Runner I’m getting has factory floor mats, but I’m not a big fan because they don’t have the edges turned up to help hold water/slush from leaking out. Other family members swear by husky, and they are good too.

 

For my Tacoma, I bought then sold Weathertech mats for the rear seat, and replaced them with Husky. Material was thicker and more form-fitting. I don't have any experience with the front mats so I can't compare the two but it looks like they're comparable with each other. Also have Husky front/rear in our Corolla and they take all the abuse the kids throw at 'em.

 

That has been my experience as well but one advantage to trading it in versus outright selling it to CarMax is the sales tax offset which can potentially offset some or all of the CarMax difference depending on trade in value and so forth…that can be the case here in Georgia as example.
