Arb dual air Mod

So this weekend installed Arb dual air compressor! Quick easy install! Used Rago Fabrication mount! Had to do slight modification to relay bracket mount but pretty quick straight forward install! If I could do over would look to install behind air filter, space and future mod using space by battery! Probably irrelevant but more space on 2021 runners!

 

Would the same bracket work on the other side?

 

Arb dual compressor Did come with a rocker but it was too large to fit direct spare slot for my 4runner 5th Gen. I got a CH4X4 Small Push Switch for Toyota -Air Compressor Symbol 3 - Blue LED off Amazon for direct fit. yeah had to add key and tether that do not come with kit. Hose and air give are also separate! As for bracket fitting other side could work but as it sits would interfere with air filter box need custom cut!

 

Sorry sent to quick, did not want to make too many cuts and unnecessary mods cuts if I did not have too. Currently as made rago fab mount direct perfect fit!

Currently moving mine from the driver side to passenger. Be careful with that relay box I finally found out why my drls stopped working.

 

If you don’t mind what issues did you have & do you know what caused it? Obviously something with DLR and Relay but if you wouldn’t mind expounding. I have been searching for passenger side mount but most I have come across are either self fab or generic mods making it work. Just trying to avoid too many mods if possible. Eventually looking to add second batter and possible switch pro to manage all accessories! We shall see!

 

My case may be different than yours but with the relay box sideways water was somehow able to get in it from some heavy water crossings and general splashing into the engine bay and corroded the relay socket. There’s only 5 relays in there and the way my box was the drl relay was on the very bottom.

 

Thanks for that feedback! Yes I am not a fan of having the relay box lay sideways, being below the compressor mount means compressor has to come out for any relay troubleshooting or change!
