Couldn’t agree more on design! Toyota unfortunately leaves a lot on the table when it comes to design, especially as compared to nearly every manufacturer out there. Even the likes of Kia/Hyundai design has quickly evolved from ugh to hmmmm. But you have to hand it to them on the 5th Gen 4Runner, it still after all these years has a great design appeal.

I don’t get it. Mazda makes beautiful vehicles. I agree the Koreans have come a long way.

Toyota mindset- let’s add dozens of creases and random lines. So damn busy. I don’t want my vehicle looking like an origami piece.

If had unlimited money in straight cash homie, I would have waited for BOTH owners to come out, and paid $10k more than value for both of those in one deal. I love odd colors and those are amazing.

Just saw one in person the other day, and it ain't for me, but to each his own. Definitely get what you like at the end of the day, and you will be happy for a long time, regardless of what others think

I don't understand why Toyota didn't give the 4Runner the same lime that the Taco has. The Electric Lime Metallic is an incredible color.

The 4R LR color looks muted to me vs the Taco ELR.

That's my Cavalry Blue 4R in the pics, and I like the color so much, I wouldn't take 10K over value for it . If I did get rid of it for some reason, I'd be on the hunt for another one just like it!

I loved my 3rd gen taco in inferno and I love spotting the occasional inferno 4R in the wild. I was a little disappointed with the color options for the 4R TRD ORP when I purchased mine. Don't get me wrong... lots of good colors but I like different. And I like contrast with black accents. I like loud. I like the lime rush but still haven't seen one in person. I almost paid the extra for the lunar rock but I couldn't look myself in the mirror about the cost just for color. To each their own. Do you love your color? Then I love it too. Diversity for the win.

P.S. Maybe I'm compensating for something? :transformer:

I love the color, I get compliments all the time. I turned down a black and a white 2021. Glad I took a chance on it as a put a deposit down without yet seeing the color.

I've always been an FJ guy. I bought a black cherry FJ in 2007 new. I have an army green FJ now and I love it. I have personalized it and made it unique to me. I love the 2013 cement gray Trail Teams FJ. When I started seeing the first lunar rock 4Rs I fell in love, but I could NOT find one at a decent price. I liked the camera and upgraded features on the 22 Pro and put my name on a list on an inbound 22 LR Pro. Third in line...somehow I got shifted to the front and got the call. The dealer would sell it at MSRP minus military discount. I thought I was settling for LimeR over LunarR, but now that I've had it close to 2 months and have lifted it, installed 285 BFGs, darkened it with ceramic tint...I absolutely LOVE it and prefer it to lunar rock. The upgraded technology, exclusive TRD Pro color on the last gen model year, Toyota talking about cutting production...I have a vehicle that with a 100k miles on it will still be worth nearly what I paid and possibly more. The dealership offered me 26K for my FJ with 120k miles on it and I would not take it. Anybody can own a white, gray, black and now lunar rock 4R. I doubt lime green will be prostituted out like lunar rock was...Nearly all 4Rs look like soccer mom SUVs if you don't lift them and put on larger tires...in my twisted opinion(I bought the wife 99 4R Limited years back) . I like all the TRD Pro model years. I always wanted a TRD Pro and finally pulled the trigger. I'm a happy manupload_2021-12-2_0-6-37.jpg

Big Bang Theory was the most popular show on TV for years. Does anybody really think it was the best?

Those 285's on the 4Runner look tiny compared to what you have on the FJ. What size are those?

On a PORSCHE I would agree ! 4RNR wise I have mixed feelings about it.
