Im just confused as to why these cheaper ones won't work for the time being... they are the full hub Assy.

Why waste money on cheap replacements and do the work twice when you can get a quality part for a reasonable price and fix it for good with OEM Toyota parts that @nj636 uses

:duel: sad that I need to re-aim one of the KC's cus it got turned around at the car wash. And I can't find somewhere dark enough and long enough for me to aim it...

There is no way you're looking at a full hub assembly for that price

    so much this

Wouldn't I just need to pull the hub flange w/ studs from the old one and use that with this? I also found this, but I can't really tell if that's just the flange or not.
Edit: Second one is rears, sorry. They only make fronts for 4wd's :((( better get converting!

On another note: this is really cool. A hub retrofit to add plug-in hybrid capabilities.

Welp, both front calipers are frozen. Wonderful. I'm hoping that what I think is the bearing was just a weird coincidence in noise.

    Just trade for a 4WD

But if you don't, get autozone calipers. Lifetime replacement

I was only happening when the wheel was turned to the drivers side, and the noise came from the drivers side, so it could be, but that's symptomatically sound with a bearing.

    :lalala:I want to convert. Shh

why would you want to convert? You can do a ton with 2wd and good driving. You can also get lift spindles and not give a shit about stupid CV angles.

You mean it was coming from the passenger side while turning to the drivers side.

i have either bilateral frozen calipers or dragging parking brake. leaning toward the latter. or both. Gotta do my LCAs too. and T belt. F maintenance. Might drain and fill the trans later today and install my LCA skids. or do none of the above and watch TV instead. :computercoffee:

that is for the bearing itself, not the whole assembly that I sell (bearing, bolts, oil seal, hub flange)

If you choose to DIY I would not recommend a Duralast bearing.

When do people normally replace those? Is there an interval for it or just when they start making noise?

When they start making noise usually. I know mine got really bad. I had to actually smash it with a sledge hammer multiple times cause it rusted to the splines of my CV axle cause the seal let water in a long time ago

    THANK YOU :)
    ^^THIS^^
    THANK YOU :)
    AWESOME PIC :D
Def not a full assembly, just the bearing
to add; most shops don't have the SST socket to remove and then tighten and torque the nut on the back
    THANK YOU :D
    ^^^THIS^^
The wheel bearing is a wear item, replace when worn.

Cool works for me! Guess I'll go ahead and just throw on my ARP studs. Been waiting to swap the hubs and do the studs at the same time but they appear to be good still

Yeah those. I saw a picture posted in the LT thread and it made me want to get off my ass and get to work

Some nicer lugs would be great though...I'm going to be using lugs off my old all-pro wheel spacers lol
