Wife was driving her ‘21 nightshade and got a crack on the windshield. State Farm says I have a $100 deductible. Recommendations on glass? Do I need oem or is oee fine? Do I need to be concerned with the stripping around the windshield or possibly the heater for the wipers ( if it has it )? Dealer need to recalibrate or will the companies be able to most likely do it on site. I guess looking for some answers or questions I need to ask before I start calling.
    Thanks in advance!!

If insurance is paying why not go with OEM? Take it to your preferred body shop/auto glass shop.

I would check with Toyota dealer to get original Toyota glass and do TSS-P re-calibration.

I had an after market windshield for my 2017 and I wasn't happy at all. It left a mark on smallest chip.

I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
i replaced my wifes 2021 Rav4 windshield also with state farm and i had to take it in to the Safelite place as they had to do the calibration there and couldn't do it via the mobile unit. I have aftermarket glass on both my 4runner and Rav4 because the deductible for factory glass was way higher than aftermarket and both are fine and the wiper heater functions normally on both. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Just for my own knowledge, what is OEE? I get that it's the aftermarket alternative to OEM, just don't know what OEE stands for.
