Toyota 4Runner Trail Edition Coolers

Curious question.....

How many out there are interested in Toyota coolers? I just got my Lunar Rock Trail Ed. and it came with a color matched cooler. I am thinking of purchasing a second one for other uses and my dealership can order them up.

For those who didn't get one with their model, did you ever consider getting a cooler?

Or would you?

 

Where can you get them...after seeing yours, I inquired at this dealership and they knew nothing about it?

 

You can get them from the dealership. I called mine this morning and they do have them in Army Green / Cement / Lunar Rock that I know of. There could be other colors.

When I called another dealership on Monday of last week they had the same issue. They couldn't figure out what I was talking about but the one I called today even had them on display.

Save my image and print it off or email it to them.

Where did you get those Toyota labeled straps? Also how is the cooler? Does it keep things pretty cold for a while?

Have a cooler in my 21 Trail. Worked well on most recent trip. Redid how its strapped in so I could push it further left to open up a bit more room on the right side.

 

Anyone know which company makes the Toyota coolers?

Sorry for the delay. Spyder, the straps came with the vehicle.

The lunar rock part cooler part number is:

I haven't had a chance to use my cooler yet but might give it a shot soon as the weather is turning.

I didn't know they were becoming harder to find.

 

Is there a mark on the cooler that states who made it? Thanks

 

Being a complete cooler nerd my best guess based on a couple of the features would be it's coming out of the same factory that makes Fatboy coolers.... With that said I think you would be pleasantly surprised with the quality. I'm a yeti guy but only because I was able to get some through a friend's sponsorship but there's a lot of really nice products out there. And it's my understanding that there's only so many factories doing rotomolded coolers it's just a matter of what mold and brand and the quality of the finishing

 

I have an iceco fridge, it's definitely a game changer never needing to get ice.

 

UPDATE: Just received my 4Runner Cooler yesterday. Order in cement. Closest color to MGM. A bit pricy, but the quality is there. I was thinking I can use it during the core winter months to store the other gear: Jumper Cables, Toe Strap, Tools, etc. Years later this might be a real collectors item if Toyota ever stops having these made. LOL However, the "Toyota" marked tie-down straps did not come with the Cooler (???) Hopefully, there is a seperate part number for the tie-down straps so I can order them. Anyway, here's some pics of the cooler.....

What are yall paying for them? Saw them online from 280-400. Dealer near me quoted 420ish.

Did you get the Toyota straps with yours?

 

No straps. I will try to find a seperate part number for the straps. Apparently, they come together with the Trail Package, but are not if purchased after market.

 

Mine came with the straps. I'll see if I still have it laying around. You can have it for shipping if I find it.

I did get mine from a dealer on ebay when it first came out.
