Should be an interesting trip up north this morning. Y’all be careful out there! Looks like I’ll be leaving a bit earlier.

Just in case any of you are going by Little Chute, there is a Kwik Trip there, my daughter manages it. I have never been to it yet, but it's an option. If it's out of the way.... OK. The snow has stopped over by Neillsville, wife and I going to a FFA breakfast, then I might have to plow snow, hope it melts first! Have a safe trip all of you.

The rain changed over to snow just north of Fond du Lac.

The snow made it just a little more scenic and interesting!

First annual “Snowflake Run, The Pipeline” was a success! The landscape had a totally different character with the snow. Absolutely a blast, once a again, with a great group of guys!!!

 

Yes! This must be an annual event! Maybe we shoot for a week or 2 before gun season again next year.

 

@McSpazatron @Chris In Milwaukee What lift are running 2 in 2.5 in 3 inch and stock load med or heavy ??? Just curious

I got the IMS series shocks. Crickey Mike offers the rear IMS shocks in either “comfort” or “standard” valving. I got standard valving, which is a firmer feel.

For the springs I got the 2.5 in springs in front, that are supposed to settle to two in with the weight of a bumper and winch. I got the standard weight springs for the back with a 1.5 inch lift.

 

I built mine from the budget end of these. Build a kit that’s right for you and your budget!

Mine is a 2.5”/1.5” configuration where the front settled in at 2” with the weight of my front bumper. Specs are in the build thread in my sig below.

Edit: Sounds like Spaz and I are similarly equipped and he has the next level up of shocks/struts from me.

 

Bilstein 6112 in front, 2.3" lift, medium springs for the bumper and winch. Rear is Bilstein 5100 with 1.5" lift Bilstein heavy load springs. I carry a lot of constant weight.

 

You remember when you were a kid and you played outside all day ? Its very refreshing ! You sleep well afterwards !

 

Keep in mind neither Chris or me were limited by our suspension on Sunday. And neither were you. It’s very easy to overspend on some of this stuff, just go with reputable brand stuff that matches what you want it to do

I had a great time yesterday! These trail runs have been some of my favorite memories the last few years. I can't really think of a better way to spend a day.
