Yes. 100% plug and play. No cutting, no splicing. Works with her factory key fob. Press lock 3 times and it starts.

Awesome, that's what I'm after and to work with the factory fob. Looks like mama getting an early xmas gift.

Welcome back! Did you make out well on the resale or trade-in of the Outback?

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Yes the Nautical Blue shows dirt and scratches like a black but man when it's clean it pops!

paid my city $1007.05 property taxes for the joy of owning my 4runner...gotta love highway robbery.

Also ordered a set of mirrors signals from midatlanticoffroading, someone mentioned them in the black friday thread.

I was just quoted $320+tax for a Viper system installed. Is it worth the savings to do it myself or just let them do since they warranty their work?

Hand washed and hand dried the 2018. My son has my 2011 for a couple days, couldn't wash that one.

It does shut off when you open the doors. With the push to start models its unavoidable.

Do you fold your mirrors in before entering? No hand washing here during the winter. Thx!

Thx. I avoid the Swirl-a-Matic ones. So the touch free has those robotic arms flying and spinning all over the place.

Jumped to 295s. Yokohama geolander G003 M/T. With spidertraxx spacers, my effective offset sits at -43.75 lol. Got a bunch of trimming to do

Lol, I think the angle of the pic makes it look closer to the top of the fender than it is. I have pretty good room lift wise, but I got a lot of trimming and banging to do

I remember hearing the same concern, maybe 15 years or so ago, about eco cars shutting off at stoplights then restarting. I think VW was one of the first. Their solution was to use extra heavy duty starters to take all that abuse. And with Toyota hybrids they do the same thing. Gotta believe they have the recipe correct after all this time. But Kia? Who knows.

I, too, took an Outback detour between 4Runners. The "iPad" in the center stack malfunctioned on an almost daily basis, and by the end I was ready to drive it into a creek.

Yeah there were all kinds of quirky issues with it. I was ready to punch a hole in the iPad. That will be my last Subaru.

    Too many….Is that a thing?
Maybe I’m missing something, but won’t the tab over the end cut into the rope?

Bought the rubber hitch receiver plug. Not sure why these don’t come standard?

My 2004 came with one but I had to buy one for my 2017. Keep in mind that you need to make sure it fits tight or you will be buying another one :(

Yeah, it’s not super tight but it only cost like $8 or $9. If I lose it no big deal.

Never had any problems with the one on my 2001 4Runner.
