So I have fender flares from the factory and I’m wanting to do an viper cut to the front bumper. I’m not sure how to go about removing these or what it looks like underneath. I would do the viper cut with the fender flares but I’m not sure how good that would look, or how to make it look good after cutting. Any suggestions?

Are you having larger tires installed? Or just for looks? You’ll either have to remove them completely, or cut the front piece along with the bumper cut. A viper cut might look a little funky too with stock size tires.

Im planning on running 35’s or 37’s. I’m unsure if the regular fender is underneath

37’s? I think a viper cut will be the least challenging thing at that point:D you’ll most likely have to remove those either way with 37’s, and be ready to do a massive amount of wheel well work along with a body mount relocation.

Yeah I’m getting new suspension. Just trying to piece the puzzle together first.

Will do. It should be a couple months. I think I want to do a viper cut with the fenders. But how should I go about making it look good after cutting into the fender? I don’t want a big hole in my fender flare.

You want to cut the actual fender? Or the flares? If you plan on keeping those, aside from a viper cut you’ll probably have to trim the actual metal fender to accommodate 37’s, which will require you trim the flare itself as well. Once you get your lift, start test fitting the tires and marking where you’ll need to cut.

Depending how aggressive of a cut you want to make, mark it with tape and follow that line. There’s not much to it besides following the line. Those flares are pretty thick compared to OEM flares so where you make the cut you’ll just have an uneven line from the flare. I shaded in the red what you would potentially cut depending how aggressive you want it.

i just took off a fender flare the regular fenders underneath. I’m wondering if I can order placement fender flares so when it comes time to sell I can keep some resale value.
