Well, the 4Runner has been traded. Picked up a 21 Tundra TRD Pro in Lunar Rock. Need a truck. Love this thing. Miss the 4Runner a ton already though…

I appreciated this forum the last couple years as it certainly helped on many occasions.

I will be posted a number of items on the sell page that I pulled out before trade. Seat jackers, panel, canvasback liners, Teton workshop shift knob (black and white), sprint booster, console and glove box trays, etc etc.

I wish all of you well.

    Nice truck! Congratulations!

Yeah, if I were wanting a pickup, I think I'd pull the trigger while I could still get a 'dated' Tundra with the V8. Old-school reliable with no turbo. Enjoy! Maybe down the road you can get a used 4R as a second vehicle.

Nice I did the same. Loving my LunaRock. The only thing I miss with the 4runner Pro is the size. After driving the tundra with the V8 I know it would be hard to go back to the 4runner V6. Yes it does use more gas but it is a trade off for the V6. Still taking me a while to get use to the size.

Agree with all of you. Getting about 17mpg right now. Was getting 19.6mpg in the 4Runner. I’m ok with it. That V8 sound with the Pro exhaust is wonderful. Certainly miss the 4Runner though.

19.6 in the 4Runner? I’m lucky to get 15 on the highway! That is the perfect color for the truck. Looks great!

Congratulations on your new ride. I can appreciate missing your old one.

I went through something similar after getting rid of my 1990s Explorer this spring to get a 4R. I gotthat thing out of high school and took care of it for years. I grew emotionally attached to that truck. She was the most loyal gal I ever had in my life :)

So...not to be rude, but somebody mentioned stuff for sale. Came by to pay my respects to the departed 4Runner, but was kinda hoping to snag something on my way out ...:boink::anonymous::D:D:D
