I recently lifted my runner 1” front and rear. I have a new set of black TRD sema wheels wrapped in brand new 265 Nitto terra grapplers in the garage that are about to be installed and I’m wondering if anybody else has added 1.25” wheel spacers with a stock tire size and a small lift?

There’s no need for spacers unless you have UCA clearance issues up front.

I know, the spacers will solely be for aesthetic reasons.

Then get Spidertrax 1.25 or 1.5.

That’s the contingent plan if I can see what it looks like if others have done the same thing with a setup like what I currently have.

What’s the backspacing on the new wheels? I say you have a look at it with the new wheels/tires before buying spacers. Honestly looks good right now.

I’m not sure, the new wheels are factory TRD sema wheels and I know they’re 17x7 with +4?? Offset I believe.

I had spacers on with the TRDOR wheels it looked pretty good. However I did not want to deal with the extra maintenance of the spacer. I decided to go with Pro wheels without spacers and quite happy with it.

Do you have any pics showing the stance that you could post? I’ve seen a ton of TRD pros around and in person but I’ve never looked close enough at where the tires sit.

Are the sema wheels the same as the pro wheels? If they are, those have a bit more poke than the stockers I believe. I think it will look good to the eye once you mount them up (already does).

Personally, I would avoid spacers if at all possible. I suppose plenty of people run them and they could be safe, it’s just that it becomes another thing to keep an eye on. If you did, you probably would get away with no rubbing with stock tire size.

I agree with mounting the new wheel/tire setup and then adjust from there if necessary to meet your goal.

I was convinced I would not be happy with my 'stance' with my new wheels (17x8.5, 0 offset) and swapping my pretty new Toyos (stock size) over, but when it was done it was pretty much exactly what I wanted...

That said, I am a really surprised I have a little drivers side rub at full lock in reverse with 265/70/17s....

I didn’t get a good pic of the poke, but on paper it sits 7/16” out farther than stock.
I had some -6 offset wheels and they were flush with top of the fenders. The pro wheels are +4. They sit a little inside which being on a gravel road, 4CFBDA7F-542C-4E06-9C1E-D340DA4E80EE.jpg my paint appreciates not having any tire poke.
