c4 fabrication

got the new bumper installed today...added a Rugged Ridge 10k# winch and Diode Dynamics light bar...waiting on shackle spacers. Added a little weight to the front end but not enough to really make much of a difference. The Westcott lift seems to be keeping nearly all the lift it had originally so I'm happy about that. I'll post more pics to show when time permits.

 

Looks great! Any issues with the bar and TSS?

 

None so far.

Nice!!! How are you liking that light bar? Do you have any output pics? I think this is the first time I have see the DD light bar in the C4 bumper! It looks great!

 

I got lucky...a guy 100 miles away bought this, had it powdercoated and then changed his mind. Sold it to me for what he had into it and it was ready to go...otherwise, I'd have had to wait for months.

 

Honestly, I've had it on one time! I've been so busy at work that I haven't even had a chance to mount the Auxbeam controller that I had put in at the same time. I'll get to it this weekend and update with more pics.

I ordered a rear bumper, gas skid, and diff skid plate from C4. Looking forward to that coming in… my wallet has less in it but it will be put to good use so it pays for itself.

Gossamer, what brackets did you use to mount the SS30 lightbar to the C4 bumper? I've tried both the diode dynamics and the c4 brackets and nothing is the right fit. Please help me out here? I'm super grateful for your help.

What did all those mods do to your gas mileage?
- well it depends on where I am driving and how I am driving. A lot of city driving usually no more than 10 miles one way and 10 miles back (this is at the top end). I get around 11-12 mpg. However, I was getting around 14 when I did a longer trip.

 

Hey boss I know it's been a long time since you posted this but what bracket did you use for your diode dynamics light bar?

 

I mounted the DD SS30 in the C4 bumper by cutting and reversing the DD bracket ends. Paid a welder 15$ and he did it on the spot. I know it’s frustrating. You’ll get there
