Excited to see what the 2022 Tundra will look like. Only a few months left until release. It will foreshadow a lot for the 2023 4Runner. I just hope it doesn't look like the Fortuner or the new Sienna.

It has “raptor” LEDs and a light bar in the grill. There you go mods done.....,,, I would get a new Ford electric Lightning if I had the jack...

lol. Raptor only has Raptor lights because it’s required to by law.

Don’t tell me the Tundra is that wide.

I'll hold my final opinion until I see it in person, but as of now it's kinda goofy looking.

Interior is pretty dang nice though.

Good video, but that is a very complex powertrain. I'd be concerned about the severe duty maintenance schedule, might rival that of a diesel.

My main takeaway is that it's not a typical Toyota hybrid design, more like Toyota's take on a mild hybrid (like the old GM hybrid trucks, or apparently identical to the F150), so it's not as unique as the other hybrids. If I needed to tow or needed a half-tom for some other reason, I'd probably go with a conventional engine. The turbo engines eat gas when you stay in the boost, which you will.

If I needed a truck bed for cargo, and wasn't planning to tow a lot, I would honestly go for a Ridgeline. NA engine, good HP and payload, and seemingly as good or better mpg than the expensive hybrid trucks.

Great video! Based on that, I would go with the non-hybrid system.

Looking forward to reviews of the working man's models that are under $50k.

Looks like they integrated a lot of the 200 Land Cruiser technology in this latest and suppose to be greatest Tundra , could be just like the Tacoma after 2015 the new version kind of ruined the Tacoma for me .
