Are you using OEM Upper Control Arms?

Not yet, but will when I replace the 6112’s. 2.5” is as high as I can get without a body lift and all the shops don’t recommend spacers on 6112’s. When these go out or I get more into actual trail riding I will replace them.

So, if I just went with 6112s front, set at the .8" setting, and 5160's rear, it sounds like I wouldn't need to change UCAs, and I'd get rid of the brake dive. Am I totally missing something?

Thats probably as close to the TRD Pro set as you can get without actually buying from Dealership.

    Nice truck!
This is going to be my exact lift on the 2013, with JBA UCAs, got my vector 6s in bronze ;) Going with 275/70R17 tires.
    Hopefully it looks good!

alright since we're here.. and this is all very confusing to me. Should I stick to having the 6112 set at max height? Per their recommendation of course with the different settings for driver and passenger side? Would this be too much or should the 5160s and Icon 2" springs be more than enough to keep the nose of truck from looking up?

I think you'd be fine at 2.6/2. I'm at 2.3/1.5, so you'd have more rake than me. Just keep in mind that above ~2.5" you're getting into the territory of requiring UCA's. You might be fine, but you might want to be prepared for it.

Trashed the 8 janky factory speakers added powered sub. Bilstein 6112 suspension lift w/ 285 70 17"s
    4Runner Pro's!
To anyone who has experience with a new suspension lift squawking from front right, or left side please let me know.

I just had a 6112 Bilstien suspension lift installed and alls well, but!, the front right has a annoying squawking sound over bumps, and when breaking as the truck returns to level.

4WP claims it could be a under lubricated upper control arm zert/bushing... or, as I suggested a bad shock

I trust the mechanic's knowledge to install the lift per spec, but he said they all squawk until the lift has had enough time to settle in after 10 days.

I said look, get rid of the squawk...its a new 4Runner.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

Hello! Unfortunately I am not sure about the squawk noise you are getting, did you manage to get it figured out?

Got her lifted, with new wheels and tires! Also, got lucky and found someone selling a new in box Gobi rack!!

Next step is to get the rock sliders I bought from Shrockworks installed!

Recently purchased a set of Bilstein 6112's plan on 1" or 1.7" with a 3/4 spacer rear if I decide to go 1.7" front. I do have KDSS,my concern is whether to run a KDSS spacer. Anyone have experience with these?

a mild lift like you’re planning won’t push the sway bars to any extreme angles especially a 3/4” rear lift.

I don’t have KDSS but did the 1.65/1.7 c clip and 1” cornfed spacers in the rear. Kept the OEM rear coils. Sits perfectly level.

It’s likely just the newness of it. Probably the bushings as the shock won’t make that noise. My rears did that and issue went away after a few months. I’d give it a bit of time to sit in. Go wheel’in a bit more
